INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION

The Ministry of Trade & Investments, Asaba hereby invites competent and reputable contractors to tender separately for the Construction of Agbarho Modern Market (LOT 1) and for the Construction of Agbarho Modern Market (LOT 2), in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.

CONTRACTORS TENDERING FOR EACH OR BOTH OF THE PROJECTS ARE TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:
1. Evidence of Registration with Contractors Registration Board
2. Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
3. Corporate Affairs Commission “Particulars of Directors” or “Partners” as applicable.
4. Evidence of DSIR Card
5. Evidence of payment of Tender fee of N250,000.00
6. Evidence of Professional and Technical qualification
7. Evidence of Financial Capability
8. Evidence of Equipment and other relevant infrastructure
9. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years.
10. Evidence of Certified Audited Account for the last three (3) years.
11. Verifiable contact address of business premises, utilities bill payment, etc
12. Evidence of previous jobs successfully executed in the last five (5) years.

All Tender Documents which should be in two copies each, together with completed Bills of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME), should be put in a wax-sealed envelope addressed to:

The Secretary,
Ministerial Tenders Board,
Ministry of Trade and Investments,
Asaba.

Each project title should be clearly marked at the top left hand corner of the envelope.

All Tenders Documents should be delivered to:
Ministerial Tenders Board Secretariat,
Planning, Research and Statistics Department,
Ministry of Trade and Investments,
Asaba.

NOTE:

  • Only qualified contractors will be invited
  • The Ministry is not constrained to engage the lowest bidder for the execution of the jobs
  • The submission of tender documents does not guarantee award of any of the contracts
  • Opening of Tenders holds two (2) weeks from the date of this publication in the office of the Permanent Secretary at 1:00pm prompt.
