The Kaduna State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contracts for the following:
a. Rehabilitation of Veterinary Clinics (Saminaka, Kafanchan and Magajin Gari),
b. Construction of 4 Cattle Dips for Sedentary Pastoralist Communities – (Tudun Wada Mariri, Baban Ruga Amana, Kurmin Kaduna and Tohu) and
c. Construction of 10 Slaughterhouses in Kaduna State.
The Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project is now inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the:
- Lot 1: Rehabilitation of Veterinary Clinics (Saminaka, Kafanchan and Magajin Gari),
- Lot 2: Construction of 4 Cattle Dips in Sedentary Pastoralist Communities – (Tudun Wada Mariri, Baban Ruga Amana, Kurmin Kaduna and Tohu)
- Lot 3: Construction of 10 Slaughterhouses in Kaduna State, as described below:

1. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Civil Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project at the address given below from 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs, Monday to Thursday.
2. Qualification requirements include:
i) Average annual financial capacity of the last 3 years
ii) Experience as contractor carrying out at least two projects of similar nature and complexity over the last 3 years (to comply with this requirement, the work cited should be at least 90% complete)
iii) Availability of essential equipment (own, lease, hire, etc.) as listed in the Bidding Data Sheet.
iv) Contract Manager with 15 years’ experience in construction works of an equivalent nature and volume including not less than 10 years as Contract Manager and;
v) Average Annual Turnover, thus:

3. A complete set of Bidding Document in the English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000.00) for the Lots 1 & 2 each and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000.00) for Lot 3. The method of payment will be by bank draft in favor of Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project). The document will be collected by bidder’s representative on request.
4. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:00 Noon on Monday, 15th December 2025 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount stated in the table above. Late bids will be rejected.
5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on Monday, 15th December 2025 by 12:00 Noon (immediately after close of submission), at the address below:
