PROCUREMENT UNIT
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 10.5KM DANGORA-MASAMA-DANSOSHIYA RURAL FEEDER ROAD WITH ONE LONG BOX CULVERT AND 3.5 KM ACCESS ROAD LINK TO DANSOSHIYA DAM.
In its desire towards enhancing agricultural productivity by providing a rural access road to producer communities, the Kano State Government approved the construction of 10.5Km Dangora-Masama-Dansoshiya rural feeder road with one long box culvert and 3.5 km access road link to Dansoshiya dam. By this development, the State Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources wishes to invites prospective companies to express interest in the Project.
2. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS:
Interested companies should submit the following pre-qualified documents to the Office of the DPR&S/Secretary SMTB, Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources, No. 2 Bida Road, Off Post Office Road, Kano on or before 24th November, 2025 not later than 12:00noon.
3. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION:
A. Evidence of experience as a prime contractor on at least one similar project within last 5yrs
B. Memorandum and Article of Association (Name of Directors with their addresses)
C. Have a Project manager of between 3-5 years experiences;
D. Organizational structure and names of key personnel with copies of CVs & certificates;
E. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
F. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for the last 3 years;
G. Annual Turnover and audited statement of account of the company for last 3 yrs;
H. VAT registration, Evidence of Past VAT remittances & Tax Identification Number (TIN);
I. Evidence for settlement of withholding taxes due to the State; and
J. Evidence of Registration with Kano State Ministry of Project Monitoring, Evaluation & Public Procurement
K. Evidence of Registration with Kano State Works Reg. Board
5. IMPORTANT NOTICE:
i) Late submission of pre-qualification documents will not be entertained
ii) Only companies/contractors that are adjudged successful in the pre-qualification screening exercise shall be invited to collect tender documents upon payment of non-refundable fee of N250,000.00 payable to the Account Section of the Ministry.
iii) Application for expression of interest accompanied by the above listed documents should be forwarded in appropriately sealed envelopes boldly marked at the Top left corner: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 10.5KM DANGORA-MASAMA-DANSOSHIYA RURAL FEEDER ROAD WITH ONE LONG BOX CULVERT AND 3.5 KM ACCESS ROAD LINK TO DANSOSHIYA DAM: To the DPR&S/Secretary SMTB, Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources, No. 2 Bida Road, Off Post Office Road, Kano.
