INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (E.O.I) FOR SOME PROJECTS UNDER THE STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH, SOKOTO STATE
The Sokoto State Government invites interested and competent contractors with relevant experience in construction to submit pre-qualification documents as a prerequisite to tender for the following projects:
A. RENOVATION OF GENERAL HOSPITALS ACROSS THE STATE – (LOT A):
1) Renovation of General Hospital Gudu in Gudu Local Government Area, Sokoto State
2) Renovation of General Hospital Tureta in Tureta Local Government Area, Sokoto State
3) Renovation of General Hospital Isa in Isa Local Government Area, Sokoto State
4) Renovation of General Hospital Rabah in Rabah Local Government Area, Sokoto State
B. INFECTIOUS DISEASE HOSPITAL AMANAWA – (LOT B):
5) Construction of 2km Network Roads within the IDH Amanawa
6) Construction of Pediatric Wards at IDH Amanawa
7) Construction of Admin Block At IDH Amanawa
8) Construction of 2 Nos 20 Beds capacity wards at IDH Amanawa (Male and Female)
C. ORTHOPEDIC HOSPITAL SOKOTO – (LOT C):
1) Construction of accident and emergency ward at Orthopedic Hospital Wamakko
2) Construction of additional five (5) Nos two bedroom at Orthopedic Hospital Wamakko
D. SOKOTO STATE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY – (LOT D):
1) Construction of Office Space for SSPHCDA
2) Repairs of Ambulances for 244 Wards across the 23 LGAs
3) Renovation of PHCs facilities across the State
4) Construction of 10 Maternity waiting Rooms at 3 Senatorial Zones of the State
E. SPECIALIST HOSPITAL SOKOTO – (LOT E):
1) Construction of Drainages at Specialist Hospital Sokoto
F. ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE FARFARU, SOKOTO – (LOT F):
1) Construction of Additional Block of laboratories and other Structures at Advanced Diagnostic Centre Farfaru
G. NOMA CHILDREN HOSPITAL SOKOTO – (LOT G):
1) Construction and Landscaping of 2Km Road Network at NOMA Children Hospital Sokoto
H. UPGRADING OF HOSPITALS – (LOT H):
1) Upgrading of PHC Gagi to General Hospital
2) Upgrading of External Quality Assurance (EQA) Referral Laboratory Centre – SOSMEA
I. COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES (CONS) SOKOTO – (LOT I):
1) Renovation of Male and Female Hostels
2) Rehabilitation of access road within the college
3) Construction of Crefh at CONS
4) Rehabilitation of College Central Mosque at CONS Sokoto
5) Renovation of college of Nursing Sokoto complex
J. COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES (CONS) TAMB UWAL – (LOT K):
1) Construction of perimeter Fence at CONS Tambuwal
2) Construction of Administrative Block at College of Nursing Sciences, Tambuwal
K. SULTAN ABDULRAHMAN COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (SACHT) GWADABAWA – (LOT L):
1) Renovation of Admin block at Sultan Abdulrahman College of Health Technology Gwadabawa
2) Renovation of 2 Blocks of 3 classrooms SACHT Gwadabawa
3) Renovation of male and female hostels
4) Re-Construction of e-library at the College complex
5) Renovation of staff quarters at SACHT Gwadabawa
6) Construction of borehole and water reticulation for 3 males and 2 females blocks
7) Construction of 2 blocks of 3 classrooms at SACHT Gwadabawa
8) Construction of Basic Science Laboratory Complex
9) Renovation of Medical Laboratory and Pharmacy Technician Departments Laboratories
10) Renovation of College Mosque at SACHT Gwadabawa
PRE-QUALIFICATION Requirements:
i. Evidence of Company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
ii. TAX Clearance Certificate (TCC) for the last 3 years
iii. Current VAT Registration Certificate with evidence up to date remittance
iv. Audited Statement of Account of the Company for the last 3 years duly prepared and endorsed by a firm of chartered accountants for 2023, 2024 and 2025
v. Detailed Company Profile reflecting experience of personnel, plants and equipment
vi. Evidence of Financial capability from a reputable Bank
vii. Evidence of similar previous project executed within the past five years with verifiable letter of award of contract and completion certificate
viii. Evidence of Registration with Sokoto State Tenders Board as a Contractor
Submission of Documents:
Pre-qualification documents are to be submitted in sealed envelope and labelled as “Expression of Interest (E.O.I)” at the right hand corner for the title of the project (A or B Project) and addressed to:
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Health, Block 16, Shehu Kangiwa Secretariat, Sokoto.
The submission of the pre-qualification documents must include evidence of payment to the Ministry of Health a non-refundable fee of N250,000.00 for each project.
The closing date is two weeks from the date of this publication by 12:00 pm prompt.
