INVITATION TO TENDER AND OTHER PRE-QUALIFICATION/REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
INTRODUCTION
IMOTA LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA invites expression of interest for prospective contractors for the following:
(1) CATEGORY A: WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
(i) Grading of roads within Imota LCDA.
(ii) Construction of drainage and interlocking at Jubrila Street, Imota.
(iii) Rehabilitation, re-running and replacement of plumbing work in Imota Local government.
(iv) Construction and rehabilitation of 6 classroom at Anglican Primary School Imota.
(v) Provision of Solar Panel boreholes at Imota Local Council Development Area.
(vi) Construction, landscaping and interlocking at Imota Local Government Secretariat.
(vii) Construction of drainage at Itunmaja Street, Imota.
(viii) Construction of drainage at Owode Street, Imota.
(ix) Construction of road and drainage at Refuwe Street, Imota.
(x) Construction of road and drainage at Awobajo Street, Imota.
(xi) Construction of legislative/customary court building.
(xii) Construction of a block of 6 classrooms at Oke-Agbo primary school
(2.0) CATEGORY B: GOODS
(i) Supply of 500KVA transformer to Imota LCDA
(ii) Supply of electronic and information technology gadgets to Imota LCDA.
(iii) Supply of Vocational and technology equipment to Imota LCDA.
(iv) Supply of furniture and Working tools to Imota LCDA secretariat.
(v) Configuration and installation of internet facilities within Imota LCDA secretariat
(vi) Supply of waste management compactor and revenue bus to Imota LCDA
(vii) Supply of official vehicles for political and management staffs
(viii) Supply of fans, fridge, television to offices at Imota LCDA
(ix) Supply of monthly food palliatives to indigents of Imota LCDA.
(x) Supply of women empowerment equipment
(xi) Supply of Ambulance bus to PHC.
(3.0) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The expression of interest must be submitted in the following order:
(a) Cover letter duly signed by the company’s authorized signatory indicating the specific area(s) of specialization under the four (4) headings (Goods, Works Consulting Services and non-consulting services).
(b) Certificate of incorporation/Registration with corporate affairs commission (CAC) Company Audited accounts for the year (2023, 2024 and 2025).
(c) Company profile and organization structure with the CV of key personnel with professional certificate.
(d) Evidence of financial capability (reference letter from reputable bank capable and willing to provide line of credit for project execution if required).
(e) Current tax clearance certificate of the company and two directors for the last three years (2023, 2024 and 2025).
(f) Evidence of technical capacity (list of equipment, staffing etc.)
(g) Possession of experience as a prime contractor/consultants/ suppliers in at least two (2) projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of contracts of awards and certificate of job completion within the last (5) years
(h) Exact verifiable location and full address/contact, telephone numbers and email address of authorized representative, evidence of technical partnership (manufacturers authorization where necessary)
(i) In case of joint ventures, the company shall provide evidence of the Joint venture agreement executed by all parties in the joint venture
(j) Evidence of company registration/renewal with Imota Local Council Development Area
(k) Any additional information that may enhance your future considerations
(4.0) Note:
(i) EOI/Pre-qualification submission should be very clear about the area(s) of competence and interest
(ii) Submission must be submitted in English Language in Four (4) copies (one original and three copies) sealed in an envelope clearly marked submission of pre-qualification documents for Goods, Consulting Services and non-consulting services (chose whichever is applicable)
(iii) Interested applicants must note that Imota Local Council Development Area reserve the right to verify claims made in Prequalification documents submitted by them
(iv) Imota Local Council Development Area shall deal directly with only the authorized officers of interested companies and not with their agents
(v) The Pre-qualification exercise shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of Imota Local Council Development Area
(vi) Imota Local Council Development Area will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party(ies) in connection with responses to this invitation
(vii) Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information-at the Procurement office, Imota Local Council Development Area, opposite Lagos State Public Works Corporation, Imota Lagos State.
(viii) Non-refundable fee of N50,000 for bidding documents
(5.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI/PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Applications must be enclosed in sealed envelope as indicated in Note (ii) above and address to the Executive Chairman Imota Local Council Development Area and submitted to procurement units by 9am to 3.pm 13 to 28 April, 2026
CLOSING DATE: Bid closes on 28 April, 2026 by 12 noon. Bid Opening starts.
