REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR DAM AND CANAL DREDGING FOR NIGERIAN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CORPORATION (NESCO) NIGERIA LIMITED, BUKURU, JOS SOUTH, PLATEAU STATE NIGERIA
INTRODUCTION
NESCO (Nigeria) Limited in its effort to address the challenges of power generation at its Kurra, Jekko 1 &2 and Kwall Power Stations due to silted dams and canal in her stations which will include the respective Forebay; excavating and disposal of sand, silts and other materials blocking the canal in order to ensure free flow of water for hydro power operation
In view of the above, NESCO (Nigeria) Limited in order to meet up with current realities and to provide its customers with more efficient and reliable services seek to attract proposal from potential bidders for excavation and disposal of deposited silt in the Kurra Main Dam and Kwall Ouree Dam canal and silt pond using Mechanical Dredging excavator or otherwise as applicable to increase water storage capacity, reduce water velocity, higher hydraulic head and reduce abrasion of machines in the process, increase generation efficiency without subsequent challenges of flooding (downstream and upstream), wrong earth movement, community challenges and to improve power supply operation programs in all power stations.

REQUIREMENTS/ELIGILITY
(a) Specifically, interested bidders in order to submit their proposals should, conduct their own study of the area by visiting the respective sites to identify solution process and procedure.
(b) Also, bidders are requested to submit soft copy (ONLY) of their proposals in line with requirements of this RFP, clearly stating the project proposed.
(c) All other requirements and bidding instruction shall be found in the bidding documents.
(d) The proposal shall be submitted in 2 (two) parts one marked ‘Technical Proposal and the other marked ‘Financial Proposal”.
Submission of the requirements above should be clearly titled as “Submission of Proposal for DAM AND CANAL DREDGING FOR NIGERIAN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CORPORATION (NESCO) NIGERIA LIMITED, BUKURU, JOS SOUTH, PLATEAU STATE NIGERIA” as an email subject. This is a prerequisite for onward receiving and processing of the bidding documents. It must be boldly addressed to the Head, Corporate Services, NESCO (Nigeria) Limited and sent to info@nesconigeria.com on or before 08 June, 2026 at 4:00pm.
