GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2026 INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUE(IGR)PROJECTS
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 under the Year 2026 Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) Project, hereby invites interested, competent and reputable suppliers with relevant experience and proven capacity to submit tender documents for the procurement of vehicles as stated below.
2. SCOPE OF WORKS

3.0 INTERESTED CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS AND VENDORS ARE ADVISED TO LOOK OUT FOR SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE (SPN) FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS AND GOODS MENTIONED ABOVE IN THE NATIONAL DAILIES AND NOTICES BOARD
4.0 THIS ADVERTISEMENT IS NOT AN INVITATION TO TENDER
5.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
a. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including FormCAC2 and CAC7;
b. Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2026;
c. Evidence of current Pension compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2026.
d. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2026.
e. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2026.
f. Evidence of registration on National Data-base of Federal Contractors, Consultants and services provider by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 1st January, 2027 or valid Certificate issued by BPP.
g. Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant Committees of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike (AEFUNAI) or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
h. Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, and 2025).
i. Evidence of Financial capability to execute the Projects by submission of Reference letter from a reputable Commercial Bank indicating willingness to provide credit facilities for the execution of the projects when needed
j. Company profile with the catalogue of vehicles manufactured or the vehicles of the manufacturing company they are authorized to represent.
k. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) SIMILAR jobs successfully executed in the last five (5) years with names of clients, including Letter of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job completion certificate and photographs of the projects.
l. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria; indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
m. Only company included in the National Automotive Design and Development Council’s approved list of local manufacturers of vehicles or their authorized representatives should bid for the procurement.
n. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering/forwarding letter under the company/firm’s letter headed paper bearing amongst others, the Registration number (RC), Contact address, Telephone number and E-mail address. The letter headed paper must bear Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the company duly signed by the authorized officer of the company/firm.

Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike(AE-FUNAI) reserves the right to invoke the provision of section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 on matters regarding these procurements without incurring any liability to the bidders.
