We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Communication Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Internal Communication:
- Develop, plan, implement and monitor the company’s internal communication strategy
- Assist other departments in writing up / proof reading important company documents
External Communication:
- Writing emails and letters due to external parties
- Handling company e-mail accounts and communicating to external parties
Marketing:
- Become the point of contact with the marketing agency
- Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization’s brand standards
- Create content for the website in the form of blogging / newsletter publications.
- Plan and manage the design the production of all marketing materials
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions
- Represent the organization at events and press conferences
Legal:
- Become the point of contact with the legal agency
- Monitoring all ongoing work and communicating on behalf of company
- Sharing feedback to Management on regular basis on current status of active cases
Job Requirements
- Degree in communications, journalism, legal, public relations or relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience creating targeted content
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
