REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
This Request for Expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support Projects which appeared in This-Day Newspaper and Daily Trust Newspaper both of Monday, 3rd September, 2019.
The Kogi State Coordinating Office of Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support Project (APPEALS) through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit form the International Development Association) hereinafter referred to as IDA) Bank toward financing the project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payment s under contracts for the following Consultancy Services.
1. Identification and profiling of beneficiaries in each of the three Value Chains (Cassava, Cashew and Rice)
2. Consultancy on Setting up and Running of Grievance Redress Mechanism
3. Engagement of Consultant for Kogi State Priority Value Chain Studies (Cashew, Rice & Cassava Value Chain study)
4. Technical Assistance on project Management and Implementation Arrangement to the State Coordinating Office (SCO)
5. Design and Implementation of Communication Strategies’ and Stakeholders Engagement Plan
The APPEALS projects in line with the Agricultural promotion Policy (The Green Alternative) of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Which intends to build on the legacy of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) and plans to support policy thrust on food Security, Local production, Job creation and economic diversification.
APPEALS will directly continue to some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and help to enhance agricultural productivity of small and medium-scale farmers along priority value chain.
The Kogi State Coordinating Office of Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and livelihood Improvement support project now invites eligible consultants (Firms) to indicate interest in proving any of the above services.
Interested consultants (FIRMS) must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service (brochure, description of similar assignments, experience in similar activities, and availability of appropriate skills among staff; etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Consultants will be selected based on Consultants Qualification (CQ) in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations (Guidelines): Approved Selection methods (Consultancy Services) by World Bank Borrowers (Current Edition).

Expression of interest must be delivered to the address below within two weeks (20 of this advertisement: on or before 4:00pm, Wednesday 7th August, 2019 and clearly marked as appropriate (as per 1-5 services listed above)
