British Council Request for Proposal (RFP) for Installation and Maintenance of CCTV And Access Control Systems

The British Council is the UK’s international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We create friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other countries. We do this by making a positive contribution to the UK and the countries we work with changing lives by creating opportunities, building connections and engendering trust.

We work towards a secure, inclusive and prosperous world where people are able to have their voice heard, broaden their horizons and build sustainable futures. We help to break down barriers and open international opportunities to all people, helping them to make positive choices and contribute to their own societies.

Nigeria is the British Council’s largest operation in sub-Saharan Africa with offices in 4 cities – Port Harcourt in the south, Kano in the North, Abuja the Federal Capital and Lagos the commercial centre. We also have a number of project offices across the country. Our 200 staff work across a range of states delivering large scale contracts, partnership programmes examinations, projects as well as services in Arts, Education and Society and English and Exams. We are expanding and scaling up our existing programmes, contracts and services in the Arts, Education and Society, English and Examinations.

Our Estates and Facilities are an important facet of our work, providing a well-maintained and fit-for-purpose environment for customers, visitors and staff. We need to ensure the buildings and grounds are always in good working order, provide a welcoming approach in line with our brand, and always comply fully with health and safety standards.

We are therefore looking to engage a supplier to undertake the installation and maintenance of CCTV and Access Control Systems in our Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano Offices in Nigeria.
