INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF OFFICE FURNITURE

1. INTRODUCTION
The Corporate Affairs Commission was established by the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) of 1990 to regulate and supervise the formation, incorporation, registration, management and winding of companies in Nigeria.

The Corporate Affairs Commission intends to undertake the procurement of goods. Interested Contracting firms are hereby invited to tender for the following item:

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective bidders must possess the under-listed requirements to be eligible to participate in these procurements

a. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b. Evidence of payment of up to date Annual Returns to Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
c. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years 2016, 2017 & 2018) Exp, 2019.
d. Evidence of Current Pension Clearance Certificate. Exp, 2019.
e. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (TTF) Compliance Certificate. Exp, 2019.
f. Evidence of current National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate. Exp, 2019.
g. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) expiring 2019;
h. Original copy of sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Corporate Affairs Commission or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
i. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last (3) years – 2016,2017&2018
j. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project or Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank Indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
k. Company Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of key Staff to be deployed for the project including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications
l. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards and Job Completion Certificates
m. For Joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) should be provided.
n. Evidence of current Certified True Copy (CTC) of Memorandum and Article of Association including Form CAC 7 (Particulars of Directors) and Form CAC 2 (Particulars of Share Holders)
o. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letterhead Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.) and e-mail address. The Letterhead Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm;

4. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested companies are to collect the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) from the office of
Director Procurement located on the 5th floor of the main office building of Plot 420, Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja on evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10, 000.00) paid into the Corporate Affairs Commission Remita account in any commercial bank.

5. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are to submit bid in two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids packaged separately in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as Technical Bid” or “Financial Bid”. Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope addressed to The Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission, Plot 420 Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja and clearly marked LOT 1.
Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should have the name and address of the bidder and dropped in the designated Tender Box at The Registrar General’s Office, 6th Floor Corporate Affairs Commission, Plot 420 Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja not later than 2.00pm (Nigerian Time) on Monday 2 December, 2019.

6. OPENING OF BID
The technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 2.00pm (Nigerian Time) on Monday 2 December, 2019 at the Commission’s Multi-Purpose Hall, 2 Floor, Plot 420, Tigris Crescent, Off Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama Abuja in the presence of bidders or their representatives, while the Financial bids will be kept unopened. Please, ensure that you sign the Bid Submission Register in the office of The Registrar General’s, 6 Floor Corporate Affairs Commission, Plot 420 Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, as the Corporate Affairs Commission will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. 7. GENERAL INFORMATION
a. Bids must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized by the bidder;
b. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened
c. All costs will be borne by the bidders;
d. All pre-qualified bidders will be contacted at a later date for financial bid opening, while bids of unsuccessful bidders will be returned un-opened;
e. The Corporate Affairs Commission is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act 2007
