EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE
PROVISION OF PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICES FOR THE UNIVERSITY
The Delta State University (DELSU) is a corporate body with perpetual succession and a common seal. It has the power to sue and be sued in its corporate name and to own, hold and dispose of property whether movable or immovable.
Following the expiration of the tenure of the security outfits providing private security services in the University, reputable organizations and service providers involved in rendering such services are invited to indicate/express interest in providing private security services by applying to the Delta State University, Abraka. Such intent of interest should be expressed in a proposal detailing corporate profiles addressed to:

The following documents should be submitted along with the proposal:
i. Certificate of incorporation.
ii. Evidence of previous services undertaken
iii. Statement on mode of operation, accompanied by projected cost estimate per annum
iv. Tax clearance Certificate
v. Workmen compensation Act
vi. Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Plan
vii. Evidence of registration with NSCDC
viii. Evidence of ownership of Security Patrol Vehicle(s)
ix. Evidence of bomb detecting devices
x. Evidence of metal detecting devices
xi. Evidence of ownership of electronic/ICT Surveillance devices
xii. Plan for training
xiii. Evidence of ownership of other relevant security equipment
All applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable bank draft in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200, 000:00) only payable to Delta State University, Abraka.
Prospective organizations should also request their referees to send reports on them, under confidential cover, addressed to the Registrar, Delta State University, Abraka from whom further details may be obtained. In addition, only short-listed organizations would be acknowledged and invited for interaction.
Closing date is three (3) weeks from the date of the publication.
