INVITATION FOR TENDERS

1.0 The Ministry of Environment and Sustainability, on behalf of Edo State Government, intends to apply part of its approved budget provision for 2019 to cover eligible payments for works, related services and consulting services contracts to be procured under this budgetary provision. Bidders registered with Edo State Public Procurement Agency, EDPPA are eligible to bid for the project. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders in line with Section 20 and 21 of the Edo State Public Procurement Law 2012 and paragraphs 30-43 of Edo State Procurement Procedures Manual. Bidders are advised to note minimum qualifications criteria specified in Clause 4 of the Instructions to Bidders to qualify for the award of the contract.

2.0 The Ministry of Environment and Sustainability now invites bids for the Palliative measure/proposal to control flooding at S & T barracks, Isohor, Benin City.

3.0 Bidding documents may be purchased from the Procurement Office in the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability Palm House Building, Sapele Road, Benin City , from Wednesday 3, April 2019 to Friday 26, April 2019 between the Hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm on Mondays to Fridays, except on Public Holiday, for a non-refundable tender fee of NG N50,000.00 ( Fifty Thousand naira) Only to be paid into Edo State IGR Account with the following Banks: Access Bank 0006663034, UBA Bank 1010250531 and Unity Bank 0021673836. Interested Bidder may obtain further information at the same address. Bidding documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered speed post on payment of the postage cost. The Ministry of Environment and Sustainability will not be held liable for postal delay (if any) in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.

4.0 Bids must be delivered to the office of the Permanent Secretary, Palm House Building 2nd Floor Room, (Ministry of Environment and Sustainability or before 12 noon, Friday 26, April 2019 and will be opened on the same day at 12 noon 26, April 2019 at the Permanent Secretary’s office in the presence of the bidders and CSOs (with mandate of ensuring transparency and accountability) who wish to attend.

If the office happens to be close on the date of the receipt and opening as specified, the bids will be received and opened on the next working date at the same time and venue.
