JIGAWA STATE GOVERNMENT INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, COMPLETION AND RENOVATION OF FRIDAY AND DAILY PRAYER MOSQUES AS WELL AS SUPPLY OF CARPETS AND ELECTRIC POWER GENERATOR SETS ACROSS THE THIRTY CONSTITUENCIES IN THE STATE.

INTRODUCTION The Government of Jigawa State through Chieftaincy, Religious Affairs and Shariah Implementation Directorate, Office of the Secretary to the State Government hereby invites tender from reputable Contractors for the construction, completion and renovation of Friday and Daily prayer mosques as well as supply of Carpets and Electric Power Generator sets across the thirty constituencies in the state.

SCOPE OF THE WORK Construction, completion and renovation of Friday and Daily prayer mosques as well as supply of Carpets and Electric power Generator sets making a total number of Ninety Five (95) lots with a delivery period of 12 and 8 weeks respectively

TENDER REQUIREMENT Interested companies are to summit their profiles which must contain the following: (a) Certificates of incorporation/Business name registration (b) Certified true copy of memorandum and articles of association ( c) Registration with state Works Registration Board ( d) Company audited accounts for the last three years ( e) Tax clearance for the last three years ( f) Evidence of financial capability and banking support ( g) Technical qualification and experience of key personnel ( h) Evidence of similar project executed over the last three years ( i) List of equipment and technical capacity ( j) Vat registration of past remittance

COLLECTION OF TENDER Prospective bidders are required to collect the tender documents from the Director Administration and Finance (Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Directorate), Office of the Secretary to the State Government upon payment of nonrefundable tender fee of twenty thousand naira (20,000.00) for Daily Prayer and Thirty thousand (30,000) for Friday prayer Mosques and other projects respectively, all Payment should be made into ZENITH BANK ACCOUNT NO. 1011289787

SUBMISSION OF THE TENDER DOCUMENT Technical and financial bids should be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively with the company’s name indicated on one side of the envelopes and name of constituency and a lot number on the other side of the envelop. Both envelopes should be sealed in to one envelope and marked with the project name at the top right hand corner and address to: The Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance Directorate, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dutse, Jigawa State, not later than two (2) weeks from the date of this publication (13th December 2019 )

OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENT Bidders should note that all bids received shall be opened in the conference Hall Office of the secretary to the State Government block D New Secretariat Complex. By 12:00 noon on Monday 16 December, 2019
