TENDER NOTICE – PR/ICEED/MAIDA/CS/19/03
Poverty eradication. We deliver this commitment by providing the evidence base for reforms and influence that shape the poor’s climate and energy security. ICEED Foundation is leading efforts to expand access to clean and sustainable energy solutions for vulnerable communities in Northeast Nigeria.
With funding from the European Union and in partnership with Mercy Corps, ICEED Foundation is implementing the Borno MAIDA Project. This project, among other deliverables, seeks to procure and disseminate 10,000 units of ceramics/metal-based household fuel-efficient woodstoves.
This procurement is divided into the following Lots.

The technical specifications for the stoves are shown in the table below:

BIDDING FOR THE LOTS
Interested vendors should submit tenders for the Lots they are interested in. A vendor can bid for more than one Lot in separate tenders. Each tender should clearly state the Lot being tendered for.
Interested vendors must:
(a) Be a registered organization in Nigeria with evidence of registration with appropriate local authorities;
(b) Have a minimum of one year experience in cookstoves dealership and supplies;
(c) Be able to accept 100% payment on delivery or negotiate payment terms;
(d) Vendor must also include delivery timelines;
(e) Have the stoves in stock or demonstrate ability to deliver within required period;
(f) Presence of production facility in Borno State In particular and northeast In general is an added advantage;
(g) Vendors must commit to allowing ICEED technical team visit its production facility to assess their stock and/or capacity.

Bids should be submitted to ICEED Bassan Plaza 3rd Floor Block F, Behind TOTAL House, Central Business District, Abuja OR ICEED Maiduguri Office at No. 15 Galadima Street, Off Damboa Road (behind Nursing Home Hospital), GRA, Maiduguri, Borno State. All bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project heading and reference number heading and the lot being tendered for. Only bids submitted in the prescribed form and deadline will be considered.
The deadline for submission is Friday 6 September 2019 at 1600 hours.
