The Kaduna State Rehabilitation Board seeks to make necessary improvements to its Social Welfare Rehabilitation Centres across the state. The Board hereby invites competent and reputable corporate firms to bid for the following projects:
1.0 SCOPE OF WORK The work shall comprise:
i. Completion of Social Welfare Department at Rehabilitation Centres Kakuri, Kaduna, and
ii. Supply of Students’ and Staff Furniture for Kaduna and Kafanchan Rehabilitation Centres.
2.0 PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
a. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The documents required to be submitted shall include, but are not limited to:
I. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
ii. Evidence of current registration with the Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority
iii. Auditors report for the last three years (2016, 2017 and 2018)
iv. Tax clearance cerficates for the last three years (2016, 2017 and 2018)
v. Current Business Premises Registraon with Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce
vi. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM obligations
vii. Evidence of compliance with ITF obligations
viii. VAT registration and Evidence of Remitance
ix. List of the firm’s professionals and profession qualifications and registration.
x. Previous similar works executed with evidence of award and completion certificates
The requirement shall be arranged in this particular order, Paginated and signed on each page by an authorized representative of the Firm.
b. FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS
The financial requirement shall comprise the BID DOCUMENT to be collected from the address below upon the presentation of a certified Bank draft on N50,000, payable to the Kaduna State Government, within the validity period indicated.
3.0 COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENT (BD)
Interested firms may purchase Bidding document at the cost of N50,000.00 for each lot, payable to Kaduna State Government from the office of:

Kaduna.
4.0 SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
a. The Submission of Bidding document – (Both technical and Financial) must be made in three (3) copies.
b. The original and two copies of the technical and financial bid document must be inserted and sealed in separate envelopes, each clearly marked and identified on the envelopes as ‘Technical submission for completion of Social Welfare Department Rehabilitation Centre Kakuri, Kaduna’ and ‘Financial Submission for completion of Social Welfare Department at Rehabilitation Centre, Kakuri, Kaduna and
‘Financial Submission for supply of Students’ and Staff Furniture for Kaduna and Kafanchan Rehabilitation Centres’.
c. The SEALED envelopes should further be marked as Original, Duplicate and control and should be dropped in the Tender Box of the Agency.
d. The Lot No. Bidder’s Name Address and Telephone Number should be clearly written on the envelopes.

5.0 CLOSING OF BID AND BID OPENING
The submission should be delivered not later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 28th May 2019. Furthermore, all the bid documents submitted shall be opened immediately after the deadline for submissions at the same closing date and me of bid receipt, at the same office in the presence of all interested bidders and individuals willing to attend.
6.0 GENERAL NOTICE (AND DISCLAIMER)
i. Only bids that meet the Pre-Qualification requirements and are found capable of executing the works shall be considered.
ii. This Advertisement shall not be construed as a contract award or any commitment on the part of the Kaduna State Government or this Board, nor shall it entitle any company/firm to make any indemnity from the Kaduna State Government or Board by virtue of such firm’s/company having responded to
this advertisement.
iii. Response to this advertisement does not oblige the Kaduna Government or the Board to consider responding firms/companies’ tender
iv. Interested tenders may obtain further information at the above address from 11.00am Monday to Friday, (except Public Holidays)
v. Late submissions shall be rejected
vi. Submissions through e-mail or fax shall not be accepted
