LAGOS STATE EMPLOYMENT TRUST FUND LSETF & USADF EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAMME REQUEST FOR GRANT APPLICATION PROPOSALS FROM TRAINING ORGANISATIONS IN LAGOS
LSETF was established by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law of 2016 to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State. Its primary mandate is to prepare Lagos State residents for entrepreneurship and employment opportunities through the acquisition of skills to get better jobs, tackle unemployment and enable wealth creation.
USADF is an independent U.S. Government agency established by the United States Congress to support African-owned enterprises for the purpose of improving lives in poor and vulnerable communities in Africa. LSETF intends to collaborate with USADF on an Employability Programme to help 3,000 eligible young people (“Trainees”) per year by equipping them with relevant skills that cut across sectors, including but not limited to Technology, Creative Arts, Agriculture, Transportation and Logistics, Renewable Energy and Construction.
For this purpose, The LSETF and USADF Employability Programme has opened its request for Grant Application, Submission of Proposals (Technical and Financial) from Training Organisations for the training and job placement of youth residing in Lagos State.
