INVITATION FOR TENDER (TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL)
The National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) invites Interested and reputable Contractors/Companies with relevant experience and good track records to apply for Tender for the various projects of its under listed Centres for its 2019 Capital Appropriations:
2. SCOPE OF WORKS/SUPPLIES
(A) National Board for Technology Incubation NORTH-WEST ZONAL OFFICE – ZONE B (KANO)

(B) TECHNOLOGY INCUBATION CENTRE KANO, KANO STATE

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
(a) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC 2 & 7
( b) Evidence of Company Income’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years – (2016, 2017,2018) expiring on 31st December, 2019;
( c) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate Valid 31st December 2019;
( d) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2019;
( e) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2019;
( f) Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/01/2020 or valid Certificate issued by BPP;
( g) Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the National Board for Technology incubation (NBTI), Federal Ministry of Science and Technology (FMST) and the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
(h) Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three ( 3 ) years – (2016,2017,2018);
(i) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit faculty for the execution of the project when needed;
(j) Company’s Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications such as COREN, ARCON, CORBON, QSRBN
(k) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation/Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of the projects;
(l) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letter Head Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.), and e-mail address. The Letterhead Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company duly signed by the authorised officer of the firm.
4. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents for all Centres are obtainable from the office of the Zonal Director Kano, at the Technology Incubation Centre Kano farm Centre, P.O. Box 11787, Kano State upon payment of non- refundable tender fees of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000) per Lot through remita platform of the selected Technology Incubation Centre of your choice.
5. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The bid documents should be returned in a sealed envelope with the Lot marked at the top left hand comer of the envelope, two (2) envelopes tendering in one bigger envelope (i.e. Technical and Financial in separate envelopes and both put in one big envelope).
The bid must be clearly marked as indicated above and must be returned in a sealed envelope and addressed to The Zonal Director Technology Incubation Centre, Kano farm Center, P.O. Box 11787, Kano State and should reach the office of the Zonal Director Technology Incubation Centre, Kano farm Center, P.O. Box 11787, Kano State, not later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 18 November, 2019.
6. OPENING OF TECHNICAL BIDS
Only the technical bids shall be publicly opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Monday, 18 November, 2019 at the Zonal Office of Technology Incubation Centre, Kano farm Centre, P.O. Box 11787, Kano State. Representatives of Bidding Companies are requested to be present as well as Civil Society organizations and interested observers.
7. IMPORTANT NOTICE
(a) Only Successful Contractors will be contacted for Tender Process
(b) This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Board.
( c) Applicants are entirely liable to the veracity of the documents submitted by them.
(d) No bidder is entitled to make any claim and/or seek any indemnity from NBTI by virtue of such bidder having responded to the adverts.
( e) Only pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be contacted at a later date for financial bids opening, while financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened;
( f) The NBTI is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
