1. The federal government of Nigeria (FGN) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Nigeria For Women Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the supply and Installation of Office Furniture’s & Fittings.

2. The Nigeria For Women Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Installation of Office Furniture & Fittings as Shown in the table below:

3. Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding documents. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discount are included in the Letter of Bid

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers Procurements Regulation for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018. (Procurement Guidelines), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1/7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

5. Interested eligible bidder may obtain further information from Nigeria For Women Project, Attention: Mrs. Friya Kimde Bulus, friyakimde@yahoo.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours i.e. 10:00 to 1700 hours at the address given below. Qualification requirements are as follows:
– At least five (5) years industry experience in the supply and installation of Furniture with documentary evidence of three contract of similar nature and magnitude
– Three (3) year’s annual accounts as evidence of financial capabilities
– A Manufacturer Authorization for items not produced by the company

6. A complete of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) only. The method of payment will be REMITA Platform via Account Name: Nigeria for Women project/World Bank (Treasury Single Account). The Document will be sent by courier or collected by hand

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 20, 2019. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representative and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 12:00 Noon. Thursday, June 20, 2019.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least two-and-half percent (2.5% of the bid price in the Nigeria Naira
