Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Lagos Invitation for Technical and Financial Bids for The Execution Of 2018 Capital Projects
The NIIA wishes to invite interested qualified and eligible Contractors and Service Providers to bid for the execution of the underlisted 2018 Capital Projects. Interested Organizations/Companies should come, inspect and bid for the following:
Lot 1: The Nigerian Institute of International Affairs is seeking to design a web-based application that would run on Android and iOS platforms. Modules and training of desk officers include:
Project Description (Module): Membership Information System
Quantity (Description): NIIA membership holders (intending and existing) would be captured in a database and should be able to pay membership dues online, fill membership forms, apply for membership and see approvals etc.
Project Description (Module): Hall Booking System
Quantity (Description): Members of the public who desire to rent NIIA halls should be able to book and pay for its usage online after due approval from the DG
Project Description (Module): NIIA Bookshop
Quantity (Description): Members of the public willing to purchase research books from the bookshop can do so upon paying a prescribed fee for the books
Project Description (Module): E-Payment System
Quantity (Description): A gateway of payment of monies on the system
Project Description (Module): Provision and Installation of Optic Fibre Cable
Quantity (Description): 150 meter length
Lot 2: Painting of external walls of NIIA Head Office

Lot 3: Photocopier with Industrial capacity for office use
i. Certificate of Incorporation /Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Tax Clearance Certificate for 3 years (2015, 2016 and 2017)
iii. Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) for 2017
iv. Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2014, with the inclusion of current PENCOM compliance clearance certificate 2017
v. Evidence of VAT registration with TIN, from FIRS
vi. Evidence of Interim Registration Report with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Database
vii. Evidence of National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) registration
viii. Company’s detailed profile with copy of the Memorandum of Association, Article of Association, Partnership Deed etc.
ix. Registration with Relevant Professional Bodies
x. Evidence of financial and technical capability to execute the project (Bank Support)
xi. Verifiable evidence of certificate of award and completion of previous experience in similar jobs
xii. Audited financial report for the last three (3) years (2015, 2016 and 2017)
xiii. Sworn Affidavit confirming that all information presented /attached are true and correct.
All Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, paginated and properly bound, stating the specific project, on the top left corner of the envelope to the Secretary, Tenders Board, NIIA, Annex Building, Room5.
CLOSING AND OPENING OF BID
Submission of Bids will close six (6) weeks from the date of the advertisement. Bids will be opened on Thursday March 28, 2019 by 12 noon at the NIIA Conference Chamber. All Bidders and/or their representatives are invited to witness the public bid opening exercise accordingly.
a. Late submission of Bids will be rejected
b. False claims and failure to comply with the specification/instruction above or to provide will automatically disqualify the Bid
c. The Institute shall not be held liable for any loss on the part of the bidders.
