AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (ABUTH) INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL BIDS QUALIFICATION OF TENDER FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS UNDER 2020 APPROPRIATION AT ABUTH PERMANENT SITE SHIKA ZARIA DEADLINE: 3RD SEPTEMBER, 2020

1 INTRODUCTION: The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital invites interested and reputable companies/contractors with requisite experience and competence to submit Technical Bid Qualification documents in respect of the 2020 capital projects execution in the Hospital.

2 SCOPE OF WORKS LOT 1: Procurement of Utility vehicles (3 Saloon Cars)

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Interested companies are required to submit the following documents: i. Verifiable Evidence of Incorporation and registration with Corporate Affairs Commission including form CAC2 and CAC7, ii. Verifiable Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) or Valid Certificate issued by BPP iii. Evidence of Company Income's Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3years valid till 31st December, 2020 (2017, 20188.2019). iv. Company's Audited Account for the last 3 years (2017, 2018& 2019) v. Evidence of current Pension compliance certificate valid til 31" December, 2020, where applicable vi. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (TF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2020. vi. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate Valid till 31st December, 2020. vii. Every Submission must be accompanied with a sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committee of the ABUTH or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information and documents submitted are true and correct. viii. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Award, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and Photographs ix. Company profile with the Curriculum Vitae of key Staff to be deployed for the project including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications x. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering /forwarding letter under the Company/Fim's Letter Headed Paper beaning amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number, and email address. The letter headed paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the company/ Firm.

4. SELECTIVE CRITERIA: In addition to the above, bidders should also submit the following. 1. Evidence of Financial capability to execute the project including Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed.

5. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS: Prospective bidders are to submit Technical Bid documents for the supply; one (1) hard copies packaged in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as Technical Bid'" Please indicate the Lot Number and project title at the right hand corner of the envelop and indicating bidders name and address on the reverse side and addressed to: The Chief Medical Director, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Permanent Site Shika Zaria. The Tender Documents should be hand-dropped in the Terders Box situated at the office of the Chief Medical Director, ABUTH Zaria, not later than 4-weeks from the date of this publication i.e. on or before 1:00 pm of Thursday, September 3rd, 2020

6. OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS The Technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission l.e. 1:00 pm of Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Board room of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika, Zaria in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please, ensure that you sign the Bid Submission Register in the office of the Deputy Director of Administration (Planning & Development) ABUTH Shika Zaria as the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Bids must be in English Language and duly signed by an official authorized by the bidder 2. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned unopened 3. All costs will be borne by the bidders 4. All pre-qualified bidders will be contacted at a later date for collection of tender documents. 5. Due diligence should be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past executed works and supplier/contractor offices may be visited. 6. Failure to comply with any of the above stated instructions or to provide any of the listed documents may automatically result in disqualification 7. Any discrepancy found would summarily disqualify the bidder 8. The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital's Management is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder, and reserve the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the PPA 2007
