IN COLLABORATION WITH WATER AID NIGERIA
INVITATION TO TENDER AND INSTRUCTION TO TENDERERS
The Government of Enugu State, through Water Aid Nigeria with support from the Global Environment & Technology Foundation (GETF) under the Water Sanitation and Hygiene Programme (WASH) hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction and rehabilitation of water supply facilities in Enugu South, Isi Uzo, UzoUwani and Nsukka Local Government Areas of the State.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
|Lot 1:||Construction of 1No. Generator powered 45m3 EWT borehole scheme in Umuabor community, Nsukka LGA.|
|Lot 2:||Construction of 5 No. boreholes fitted with hand pump in Obeagu-Ugwuaji community, Enugu South LGA|
|Lot 3:||Rehabilitation of 12No Boreholes In some communities across Isi Uzo, UzoUwani and Ezeagu LGAs|
3. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Companies interested in participating in the tendering process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:
(i) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2016, 2017,2018);
(iii) List of certified Board Members showing their designation on the Board.
(iv) The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board or his alternate
(v) Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologist, Civil Engineer and Electro-Mechanical Engineer)
(vi) Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and Completion Certificates within the pass three (3) years; also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects;
(vii) Certified copies of company bank statement in the last 6 months
(viii) Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company; include proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment;
(ix) A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and number of days required to complete the work.
(x) Certificate of participation in site visit duly signed by the Ministry of Water Resources.

Sealed envelopes will be received at the Small Town Water Supply Unit, Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu until 11a.m, of Wednesday 5 February, 2020. Bid opening shall follow at 12:00 noon of same day at the Conference Hail of the Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu State Secretariat Complex).
5. INFORMATION MEETING AND SITE VISIT
There will be an information meeting by all prospective tenderers on Wednesday 29 January 2020, at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu State Secretariat at 11am. This is a unique opportunity for all tenderers to seek clarifications and ask questions from clients of the projects.
A mandatory site visits to Umabor, Ugwuaji.lsi_Uzo and Uzo_Uwani will take place on Thursday, 30 January, 2020. Take off point for the site visit shall be the Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu State Secretariat at 9am. It Is mandatory tor any prospective tenderer to participate in this site visit as a certificate for participation shall be given by the Ministry and shall be submitted as evidence of participation along with other bid documents.
