FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2018 TETFUND SPONSORED ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT

INTRODUCTION The Management of Federal College of Education, Abeokuta hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors and the general public that the College is to undertake procurement of works under year 2018 Zonal intervention project.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: (1) Construction of Christian Religious Studies Departmental Building.

Interested and eligible Contractors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the project in Federal Tenders Journal, National Dailies and Notice Board.

This Advertisement is NOT an invitation to tender.

Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to: (i) Certificate of Registration/lncorporation with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC). (ii) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2019. (iii) Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2019, (iv) Evidence of Current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2019. (v) Evidence of Current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December. 2019. (vi) IRR expiring on 91/01/2020 (vii) A sworn Affidavit disclosing; • That the company is not in Receivership, Insolvent or Bankrupt. • That no Director of the company has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offences relating to fraud or financial impropriety • Whether or not any officer of the relevant committee of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, or the Bureau of the Public Procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder. That information presented in its bids are true or correct in all particular; (viii) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (9) similar jobs in the last five years including letter of award, valuation certificate and job completion certificates or referrals. (ix) Companies provide with curriculum vitae (CV/) of professionals to be deployed for the project including copies of their professional qualification. (x) Evidence of financial capability to execute the projects by submission of reference letter from reputable commercial Bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed. (xi) Federal College of Education, Abeokuta reserves the right to Invoke the provision of section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 on matters regarding these Procurement without incurring any liability to the bidder.
