The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Kano State Agricultural Development Project (KSADP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the procurement Design and Supervision consultant for Stock Route Development.
The attention of Interested Consultant to drawn to Paragraphs, 1.23, and 1.24 of the Guidelines for Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (the “Procurement Guidelines”) setting forth IsDB’s Policy on conflict of interest.
The services include Design and Supervision for survey, demarcation, monumentation, and gazettement of 1,450km major routes and 500km minor routes. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the Daily Trust newspapers of the 17 July, 2019, Punch newspaper of the 18 July, 2019 and the London based Economist on the 27 July, 2019.

The Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA) now invite eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc).
The shortlisting criteria are; Core business, relevant experience and skill in facilitation and coordination of similar projects as well as technical and managerial capability of the firm.
Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of joint-venture and/or sub consultancies. In the case of a joint venture, all partners in the joint venture should be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost based Selection (QCBS) procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (April 2019 edition).
