KANO STATE POLYTECHNIC P.M.B. 3401, BUK ROAD KANO INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTERESTED FOR YEAR 2016, 2017 & 2018 (MERGED) TETFUND INTERVENTION IN ICT SUPPORT

1. INTRODUCTION The Kano State Polytechnic invites applications from, interested contractors for pre-qualification for the year 2016-18 (merged) TETFund intervention in ICT Support.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES LOT I: Websites Upgrade, Design, Migration, Hosting for One Year, Commissioning and Training LOT II: ICDL Computer Training and Certification (Base Module and Intermediate Module)

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Interested and competent contractors wishing to be considered for pre-qualification for the contract are required to submit the following: a. Evidence of Business Name or Certificate of Incorporation issued by corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC2 and CAC7 or (CAC 1.1.); b. Evidence of valid Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years, valid till 31st December 2020 c. Evidence of pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020; d. Evidence of current Nigeria social Insurance Trust fund (NSITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020 e. Evidence of current Industrial Training fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 30th June, 2020 f. Evidence of Registration on the National database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and service Providers by submission of Interim registration report (IRR) expiring on 30/06/2020 or valid certificate issued by BPP. g. Sworn Affidavit: – Disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of Kano State Polytechnics, Kano or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interested in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bids are true and correct in all particulars – That the Director(s) of the prospective contracted company has/have never been convicted by any of the company director is bankrupt. – That the Company is not in receivership h. Evidence of qualified and certified ICDL expert/trainers (where applicable). Copy of credential to be submitted i. Evidence of the financial capability to execute the project by submission of Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit facility for execution of the project when needed. j. Company’s profile with Curriculum vitae of the key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/professional qualification k. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar job expected in the last (5) including letters of Award Valuation Certificate, job completion Certificate and Photographs of the projects l. Evidence of Firms registration with Computer Professionals registration Council of Nigeria and National Information Technology development Agency (NITDA). Lot II: Evidence of accreditation by center of Management Development (CMD) m. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letter Head paper bearing amongst others, the Registration number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), contact address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM no.) and e-mail address. The Letterhead Paper must bear the name and nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

4. SUBMISSION EOI DOCUMENTS Prospective bidders are to submit two (2) bound of Expression of Interested (EOI) documents separated by dividers and arranged as indicated above. The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the registrar, Kano State Polytechnic, P.M.B 3401, BUK Road Kano (Clearly marked with the name of the project and the Lot Number). Furthermore, the reverse side of each sealed envelopes should bear re bane and addressed of the bidders. The envelope should reach the registrar on or before 12:00 noon on Thursday, 30th April, 2020. Bidders are hereby informed that late bid shall be returned un-opened.

5. OPENING OF EOI DOCUMENT The EOI documents will be opened immediately after deadline for the submission at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 30th April, 2020 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives

6. GENERAL INFORMATION Only shortlisted firms will be contacted at a later date for collection of Request for Proposal Bidders are required to sign the bid submission register Kano State Polytechnic, is not bound to shortlisted any bidder an deserve the right to annual the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in line with provisions of Section 28 of the Public Procurement, act 2007
