CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL EVALUATION SERVICES

Nascent Solutions is interested in responding to the anticipated FY2020 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food for Progress (FFPr) program for Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Nigeria. In response to this solicitation, Nascent is inviting expressions of interest from experienced evaluation firms to support its bid for the FFPr call.

SCOPE OF WORK

Nascent is looking for an evaluation services firm which can:

Author a 12-page (maximum) Evaluation Plan for the proposal, detailing the following for a baseline survey, midterm evaluation, and final evaluation in 2021-2025: · Objectives and audience

· Key questions

· Methodology and potential sampling sizes

· Evaluation management

· Alignment with USDA’s Food for Progress learning agenda

· Budget

As a potential partner, the firm would complete this task without compensation.

If Nascent’s bid is successful, the firm will conduct the three evaluations (baseline, midterm, final) in 2021, 2023, and 2025. The firm will be compensated for this task based upon a mutually-agreed budget. How to apply Expression of Interest Application

Interested service providers should respond to this call by submitting a (maximum) 2-page capacity statement including technical experience in designing and conducting evaluations in the agriculture sector, preferably in West Africa.

The expression of interest (including 3 relevant references) should be submitted to Recruitment@nascents.org by 20 April 2020 . The email should have the subject line “Evaluation EOI-FFPr”.
