DEADLINE: 14TH MAY, 2021 BUREAU FOR PRIVATISATION AND ECONOMIC REFORMS, BAUCHI STATE REQUESTS FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN MARKETS IN BAUCHI AND AZARE TOWNS, IN BAUCHI STATE

In line with the on-going Privatization and Economic Reforms Program of Bauchi State Government (BASG) through the Bureau for Privatisation and Economic Reforms (BPER), BPER hereby invites Bids/Tenders from reputable Companies for the Construction of the Project through Public Private Partnership (PPP).

The Modern Markets to be constructed in Bauchi would be on the present sites of Central and Muda Lawal markets, while that of Azare would be on the site of the Present Main market.

For pre-qualification, Applicants must possess verifiable evidence of technical, Financial and managerial capabilities to construct and manage markets in Nigeria.

METHOD OF APPLICATION Interested Tenderers are required to submit their proposals by providing the following documentation and information which shall be used as criteria for preliminary selection:

(i) Full name of company, contact person, mobile number, postal address, office telephone and e-mail address.

(ii) Ownership structure of company.

(iii) Audited financial statements for the past three (3) years and most recent Management accounts.

(iv) Technical and operational capabilities specifying;

(v) Number of years of experience in any similar industry,

(vi) Experience in the industry showing with documentary evidence of at least two (2) similar projects of not less than N500,000,000:00 (Five Hundred Million Naira) successfully executed in the last 3 years, including Letters of award, completion certificate and relevant certificates of Valuation where the jobs are ongoing and;

(vii) Evidence of ample financial resources.

(viii) Evidence of registration of Company with CAC (if applicable).

(ix) Evidence of technical and managerial capabilities

(x) Three years’ tax clearance

Failure to provide the required information above in full will render an application invalid.

Bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of N 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira), in Certified Bank Draft payable to:

Bauchi State Bureau for Privatisation and Economic Reforms. Upon payment, Prospective Investors will be issued Bid documents and given access to the data room.

SUBMISSION The EOI submissions shall be in Four (4) copies with one being original in a sealed envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR (NAME OF COMPANY) at the top right hand corner shall be delivered to the address below not later than Friday 14 May, 2021 by 5.00pm

Late submissions will be rejected
