DEADLINE: 12TH JANUARY, 2021 COVENANT APPLIED INFORMATICS AND COMMUNICATION AFRICA CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (CApIC-ACE) INVITATION TO BID FOR PROCUREMENT OF ICT EQUIPMENT & LABORATORY FURNISHING

Introduction Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Center of Excellence (CApIC-ACE) domiciled at Covenant University is one of the centers selected to be funded by the World Bank for 2019-2024 ACE-Impact project. 1he Center was established based on the urgent need to build a critical mass of indigenous African scientists with the necessary bioinformatics, molecular biology, and information and communication engineering knowledge and skills to drive and sustain impactful research.

CAplC-ACE, in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007, hereby invites interested and competent suppliers/vendors to submit bids for the following lots.

Eligibility Requirements Interested bidders must submit the following documents: i. Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)including Forms CAC2 and CAC7 for firms/companies; ii. Company's current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2021 iii. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last few years.

Collection of Bidding Documents Interested companies are to collect the bid documents from Admin./Procurement Office, 4 Floor, CApIC-ACE Office, CUCRID Building, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State. The office is open between 9am to 4pm, from Tues. 4th January to Fri. 7th January, 2022.

Bids Submission Prospective bidders are to submit their bids two (2) hard copies of each technical and financial bid packaged separately in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as Technical bid or Financial Bid. Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope and addressed to, The Registrar, Covenant University, Km 10, Idiroko Road, Canaan land, Ota, Ogun State.

On the reverse side of the envelope, ensure to put the company name and address. Bids should be submitted in the bidding box at the Registrar's Office, 3 Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota, not later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 12th January, 2022.

Bids Opening The technical and financial bid document will be opened by 12:00 noon Wednesday, 12th January 2022 at the Registrar's Conference Room (3rd Floor, Senate Building, Covenant University, Ota) in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please ensure that you sign the opening register indicating company name, representative contact details (phone number and email). CApIC-ACE will not be liable for mislabeled submissions or wrongly submitted bids,

General Information i. Bids must be in English and signed by an official authorized signatory by the bidder; ii. Bids submitted after lifeline shall be returned un-opened to the bidder; iii. Prospective bidders are to submit bids for each of the lots desired, two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids; iv. Each bid package shall be clearly marked with the Package and Lot Number and the description of the project on the outer envelope; v. All costs will be borne by the bidders; vi. Bidders should not bid for more than two (2) lots; vii.Bidders can also visit Covenant University website, www.covenantuniversity.edu.ng for the advert publication. viii. Bidders are expected to adhere strictly to all instructions as non-compliance may lead to disqualification.
