The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has obtained a credit from the International Development Association IDA/World Bank to be used in providing Support to the Government of Nigeria towards reviving the process of Economic diversification through the mining sector. The Ministry of Mines and steel Development through the Mineral Sector Support for Economic Diversification (Mindiver) Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for PROCUREMENT OF MODERN AND MECHANIZED EQUIPMENT FOR THE LADI KWALI HERITAGE FOUNDATION for Project use. The summary of major items to be supplied are listed below.

The list of Goods required including quantity, delivery address, delivery period etc. are given in the Schedule of Requirements contained in the bidding document.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive Bidding procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016) revised in November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the MinDiver Project office and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 10:00am-3:00pm, Monday - Friday (excluding Public Holidays) at the address given below.

Qualification criteria includes: (a) Financial Capability: The minimum annual turnover/Volume of the Bidder in the last three years should be NGN 304,000,000 or UsD 800,000 equivalent. (b) The audited accounts for the last five years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 shall be submitted to demonstrate the current bidder's financial position. Experience criteria (i) Minimum of five (5) years overall experience of the firm in the supply of Equipment. (ii) Documentary evidence of at least 3 similar contracts undertaken by the Bidder in the past 5 years, each must be similar in value, scope and complexity as this Contract.

Bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidder on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty-thousand-naira (N20,000) only, for a set, through REMITA website: www.remita.net to our Account; Mineral Sector support for EConomic Diversification (MINDiVER) Project) and service type sale Of Bid document. interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address below.

6. Bidding documents in English Language will be forwarded to interested bidders by email upon the submission of a written Application and evidence of payment on Remita platform. Hard copies may also be picked up at the Project office.

7. Completed Bids for submission may be submitted in hard copy to the address in the Bid Data sheet or be emailed to Mindivertender2020@gmail.com ina read-only and password protected document as an attachment on or before 2:00pm on Tuesday June 2 2021 . Late Bids will be rejected. MinDiver will confirm all received Bids by email.

8. ALL Bidders must send the password of their password protected attachments to Mindivertender2020@gmail.com within one hour after the bid submission deadline of 2:00pm on Tuesday June 2 2021.

9. All Bids must be valid for a period of 150 days after bid closing and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of NGN 7,200.000 OR USD 15,000 equivalent.

10. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
