DEADLINE: 5TH MAY, 2022 CROSS RIVER STATE GOVERNMENT INVITATION TO BID FOR CONCESSION OF OBUDU RANCH RESORT AND OBUDU CARGO AND PASSENGER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

In collaboration with the Ministries of Aviation, Tourism and Culture, Cross River State Public Private Partnership Council and the Bureau of Public Private Partnership in compliance with the Cross River State Public Private Partnership Law No 6 of 2010.

CONCESSION OF OBUDU RANCH RESORT AND OBUDU CARGO AND PASSENGER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The Cross River State Government has approved the concessioning of the Obudu Ranch Resort and the Obudu Cargo and Passenger International Airport.

Accordingly, bids are invited from suitably qualified companies/investor(s) who have the requisite technical expertise, corporate experience and financial capacity under the following terms and conditions:

OBUBU RANCH RESORT The core investor to undertake the following:

(1) To upscale facilities/ amenities to international best standard

(2) Refurbish the Resort and partner with international hotel management brand

(3) Market and stimulate the development of private villas up the Ranch.

OBUDU INTERNATIONAL CARGO AND PASSENGER AIRPORT In order to encourage, stimulate, reinvigorate and breathe life into the Obudu Ranch Resort, as well as address the challenge of access to the Resort, the Cross River State Government invested in and is building a world-class cargo and passenger international airport in the Obudu.

Besides having the reinvigorating effect on the Ranch, the airport is a catalyst for agricultural revolution, cultivation of ornamental plants and cash crops, which are processed and exported through the airport.

Solid minerals deposits ranging from tantalite to coal tan found in the South-South through Northern Nigeria can be transported via the airport thus boosting employment opportunities and earning the state and country foreign exchange.

REQUIREMENTS

Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria Evidence of up to date registration/2022 renewal with Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence (DPPIB) in relevant category. Company audited account for three (3) years (2019, 2020, 2021) Tax Clearance Certificate for three (3) years (2019, 2020, 2021) Evidence of job done recently Evidence of VAT Registration/Remittances Evidence of financial capacity from a recognized bank Evidence of knowledge of industry, possession of key equipment/ technology staff with relevant professional qualifications.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

Qualification documents must be electronically to the following email address; ( crspp_council@gmail.com ) Hard copy documents in sealed envelopes must be delivered not later than 15:00hrs on May 5, 2022. Following receipt of the qualification documents, the PPP partner will be procured via competitive bidding. Qualification documents must be in English Language only. The Cross River State Government shall not be responsible for the cost of any submission.
