Ebonyi State Ministry Of Infrastructure- Invitation To Tender For Earthwork And Concreting Of Taxiway At Ebonyi International Airport

DEADLINE:16TH MAY, 2022 EBONYI STATE MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE ABAKALIKI, EBONYI STATE INVITATION TO TENDER FOR EARTHWORK AND CONCRETING OF TAXIWAY AT EBONYI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

INTRODUCTION The Ebonyi State Government, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, intends to carry out the Earthwork and Concreting of Phase 1– Taxiway at Ebonyi International Airport

In compliance with the provisions of the Ebonyi State Procurement Law 2020, the Ebonyi State Ministry of Infrastructure, on behalf of the Ebonyi State Government, hereby invites interested, eligible and competent Contractors to bid for the following projects;

Earthwork and Concreting of Phase 1– Taxiway from CH1+200 to CH2+500 at Ebonyi International Airport Earthwork and Concreting of Phase 2– Taxiway from CH0+096.26 to CH1+200 at Ebonyi International Airport Earthwork and Concreting of Phase 3– Taxiway from CH2+500 to CH3+560.912 at Ebonyi International Airport

(2.0) SCOPE OF THE WORK The scope of the work will include for;

Earthwork and Concreting of Taxiway at Ebonyi International Airport.

(3.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Interested and competent companies are required to submit their verifiable evidence, profiles including but not limited to the following documents:

(a)Certificates of incorporation with cooperate Affairs commission

(b) Certified true copy of memorandum and articles of association

(c) Evidence of Registration with Ebonyi state Infrastructure Registration Unit

(d) Company audited accounts for the last one (1) year

(e) Tax clearance for the last three (3) years

(f) Evidence of financial capability and banking support

(g) Company average annual turnover of not less than Five Million Naira (N5,000,000)

(h) Evidence of similar project executed (letter of award and completion certificate) at least three (3) in the last five (5) years.

(i) Verifiable evidence of company profile and technical qualification of key personnel registered with relevant professional bodies (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN, ARCON etc.)

(j) VAT registration and evidence of past remittance

(k) That the Company have fulfilled all obligations to pay taxes, pensions and social security contributions.

(l) A sworn affidavit certifying as follows:

(i) That document submitted for pre- Qualifications exercise are not only genuine but correct

(ii) That none of the directors of the company has been convicted by any Court of law

(iii) That company is not Bankrupt

(iv) That none of the officers of Ebonyi state/Local Government is present or former Director of the company

(m) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work

(n) Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents need not to apply.

(4.0) COLLECTION OF TENDER Interested companies/firms can obtain the Tender Documents online, from Wednesday, 15th April 2022, to Thursday, 16th May 2022, at a non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00 per Phase, payable to the Ebonyi State Government through the Ebonyi e-Procurement system.

On the table, Click on the particular Tender/project you wish to make payment for and it will open the Tender Advertisement Details page for that Tender/project. On the Tender Advertisement Details page for the selected Tender, you will see Payment link at the bottom.

Click on the link and make online card payment.

(5.0) SUBMISSION OF THE TENDER DOCUMENT (a) Technical and financial bids should be submitted through the e-Procurement system via economic operators’ dashboard.

(b) Submission shall be made not later than Thursday, 16th May 2022 before 2:00pm.

(c) All required bidding documents listed on the tender advert details page must be attached before submission of bid.

(d) The bid validity period should be 90 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.

(6.0) OPENING OF BIDS Technical and Financial bids received should be opened electronically immediately after the deadline for submission by 1:00pm

(7.0) GENERAL INFORMATION: (a) Only the bids that meet the pre-qualification requirements shall be considered.

(b) This advisement shall not be construed as contract award or any commitment on the part of the Ebonyi State Government or its Agency/Agents; nor shall it entitle any company/firm to make any Indemnity from the Ebonyi State Government or any of its Agencies/Agents by virtue of such company/firm having responded to this advisement.

(d) Response to this advisement does not oblige the Ebonyi State Government or it’s Agencies/Agents to consider responding company/firm’s bid.

(e) The Client reserves the right to accept any Bid, annul the Bid proceedings, or to reject any or all bids at any me prior to Contract award, without thereby incurring any liability, or any obligation to inform Bidders of the grounds for the action.

(f) The system does not allow late submission.

(g) Submission of Tender through e-mail or fax will not be accepted.

(h) The currency shall be the Nigerian Naira

(I) All submissions must be made in English Language

(j) Pricing should be done by filling your rates through the e-Procurement system
