KANO STATE GOVERNMENT/KANO STATE AGRO-PASTORAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (KSADP)
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE RECRUITMENT, TRAINING AND EQUIPPING OF 220 COMMUNITY ANIMAL HEALTH WORKERS
The Kano State Government has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of implementing “Kano State Agro- Pastoral Development Project” (KSADP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward the recruitment, training and equipping (support them with starter packs containing basic equipment and drugs) 220 Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) or paravets under the project, to enable them deliver basic health services in their localities.
In return for such services, they will charge fees to replenish their stock and make a living.
They will be under the supervision of a veterinarian, and they will assist the Project/ Government during vaccination campaigns.
Interested applicant should send his/her expression of interest letter to the State Project Coordinator at office complex of the KSADP on or before the 18/01/2022 at 1200Hrs local time (GMT+1).
