KWARA STATE MINISTRY OF ENTERPRISE
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF KWARA CONFERENCE CENTRE
(1.1) INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of Enterprise is proposing to construct a World-class Conference Centre with accommodation, business offices and other facilities in Ilorin metropolis to boost revenue generation in the state. To this end, interested reputable and competent Companies/Firms with relevant experience and good track records are hereby invited to submit expression of interest for the proposed project.
(2.0) SCOPE OF SERVICE
The works includes Architectural, Structural, Quantity Surveying, Electrical and Mechanical Consulting Services for the construction of Kwara Conference Centre.
(3.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Interested and competent Companies/Firms wishing to submit expression of interest are requested to submit their company profiles which shall include the following:
(i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Evidence of Company Incomes Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020).
(iii) Evidence of current Pension Compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
(iv) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
(v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
(vi) Evidence of Registration with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency.
(vii) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020).
(viii) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial Bank in Nigeria.
(ix) Company’s profile with curriculum Vitae of key staff including their Academic and professional qualifications.
(x) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar job; executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificate, Job Completion Certificates, etc.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI
Interest Firms/Companies are to submit two (2) bound of Expression of Interest (EOI) documents. The document should be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to:
The Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Enterprise,
P.M.B 1374, Ilorin.
And clearly marked with (the name of the project).
Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the Firm/Company and dropped in the designated Tender Box located at:
Permanent Secretary’s Office,
Ministry of Enterprise,
Ilorin.
Not later than 12noon of Wednesday 28 April, 2021.
(5.0) OPENING OF EOI
The EOI documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 Noon of Wednesday 28 April, 2021 in the Conference Room of the Ministry.
Please note that the Ministry of Enterprise will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted EOI documents.
(6.0) GENERAL INFORMATION
(a) EOI must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized by the Firm;
(b) EOI submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened;
(c) All costs will be borne by the Firms;
(d) Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services);
(e) Only shortlisted Firms will be contacted at a later date for collection of Tender Documents;
(f) The Kwara State Ministry of Enterprise in not bound to accept any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement Process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with section 38 of the Kwara State Public Procurement Law, 2018 as amended.
