INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR PROJECTS UNDER TETFUND 2013 TO 2016 (MERGED) LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION
1. Kogi State University Anyigba in its bid to improve the capacity of its Library for the process of teaching, learning and research hereby invites reputable Suppliers/Bidders and Contractors to pre-qualify and tender for the projects under the TETFUND 2013 to 2016 (Merged) Library Development Interventions.
2. PROJECTS:
S/N PROJECT TENDER FEE (N:K) 1 Procurement of 6498no. Assorted books in different fields 20,000.00 2 Procurement and installation of 1no. Cengage online database 1year subscription which includes Legalpedia online database. 10,000.00 3 Procurement and installation of 24no. Library furniture equipment study carrels to sit 20,000.00 4. Procurement and installation of 74no. library imported shelves double sided 7ft x 3ft width 12 bay level upper and lower close 10,000.00
3. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Prospective Bidders who must be reputable publishers, book stores and Companies are required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:
(a) Valid evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
(b) Evidence of registration with PENCOM;
(c) Company Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for 3 years (2016, 2017 &
2018);
(d) Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) certification;
(e) Possession of current Interim Registration Report (IRR) as evidence of registration in the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and service providers;
(f) Comprehensive Company Profile, including details such as the qualifications and experiences of the Management and Professional staff;
(g) Evidence of adequate relevant equipment and infrastructure to handle the project;
(h) Evidence of execution of similar projects stating clearly the clients, locations, contract sums of such projects, including copies of letters of award and practical completion certificates in the last 5 years;
(i) Evidence of financial capability to execute the projects from a Bank;
(j) Company Audited accounts for 3 years (2016, 2017 & 2018); and
(l) Evidence of VAT registration and remittances.
Companies applying to be pre-qualified should accompany their submissions with a disclosure as to whether any officer of Kogi State University, Anyigba is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the
Pre-qualification documents listed above should be neatly bound, marked “Pre -qualification documents for TETFUND 2013 to 2016 (Merged) Library Development Intervention, stating the project” and submitted to the Registrar on or before 12noon of Tuesday 4 February, 2020.
4. TENDER PROCEDURE
(a) Tender documents are to be collected from the office of the Director of Physical Planning in the University upon presentation of original receipt from Bursary Department for payment of non-refundable Tender fee.
(b) Completed Tenders should be returned in sealed envelopes marked “Tender for TETFUND 2013 to 2016 (Merged) Library Development Intervention, stating the project” and addressed to the Registrar, Kogi State University, P.M.B. 1008, Anyigba on or before 12 noon of Tuesday 4 February, 2020.
Note: Only Companies that are pre-qualified shall have their Tenders
5. OPENING OF TENDER
Tenders shall be opened at 12:05pm on Tuesday 4 February, 2020 in the Council Chamber of the University,
