EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AS MAJOR REVENUE COLLECTOR
FOR MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN OYO STATE.
The Oyo State Government in its effort to introduce polluters pay principle for sustainable financing and development of solid Waste infrastructures in Ibadan metropolis, hereby invites bids from reputable firms to carry out the following services under its new private sector participation (PSP) in Refuse collection and Disposal system in Ibadan metropolis.
To this end, the ministry is facilitating the appointment of private companies/Banks for the following activities as follows:
LOT 1:
Appointment of established revenue collector companies to distribute demand bills to enumerated residences, markets. Motor Parks Police and Armed forces Barracks, Commercial and Industrial premises within allocated zones
LOT 2:
Appointment of designated banks where all demand bills will be paid within allocated zones.
Pursuant to the above, the ministry hereby invites competent and interested companies for engagement as service providers for refuse collection and disposal levies from tenements. Such appointed companies shall become Government contractors to be paid on commission basis for services rendered. Only qualified companies will be invited to submit financial tenders.
PRE-QUALIFICATION
To be considered for participation. Interested companies are required to submit the following documents for pre-qualification
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC2 & CAC7.
ii. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years 2016/2017/2018
iii. Company Profile with curriculum Vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic Certificates
iv. Adetail comprehensive description of the firms experience in similar projects over a period of two (2) years;
v. Evidence of technical and financial capability to execute the project
vi. Companies financial details and audited accounts for the last3 years;
vii. Non-refundable application fee of N50,000.00 Bank Draft drawn on Oyo State Government (MOE)
viii. Evidence of registration with Oyo State relevant agencies as a service provider
The document must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked. “LOT NAME AND NUMBER”. The tender document should be submitted to the address below not letter than two weeks from the date of this publication (12 February 2020)
