INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO PARTICIPATE AS PRIVATE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS FOR THE REVITALIZATION OF DEFUNCT HEALTHCARE FACILITIES IN A STATE IN THE SOUTH-SOUTH OF NIGERIA
BACKGROUND
In the drive towards achieving Universal Health Coverage, a State in the South-South area of Nigeria is implementing a mandatory health insurance scheme which will facilitate an increase in the demand for quality healthcare services. Partnering with the private sector will ensure that proven private sector financial management & service delivery techniques will be applied within the public administration system. The framework would enable private health SMEs to access loans at affordable rates from relevant banks, which will enable them to uptake and revitalize defunct Healthcare Facilities around the State.
To this end we seek Expressions of Interest from reputable and experienced private healthcare providers either as individual firms or a Consortium to participate in the process for the revitalization of Healthcare Facilities.
PROJECT SCOPE
The healthcare service provider will be expected to:
• Show financial capacity to renovate and operate the assigned Healthcare Facility.
• Provide services as defined in the benefit package of the State’s Health Insurance Scheme.
• Provide other PHC service requirements as defined by the Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
• Provide data on utilization of services, financial transactions and other data as required.
• Adhere to the approved Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) and institutionalization of internal quality management systems.
• Other responsibilities to ensure the viability of the Program as may be determined by the State from time to time.
PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
Interested and eligible private healthcare providers are required to submit a letter expressing their interest to participate in the scheme and along with the following documents:
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Memorandum of Articles of Association (MEMART)
• Corporate Profile of Company
• Evidence of up-to-date medical licenses of the key promoter
• Recent Tax Clearance Certificate of the Company
• Recent Tax Clearance Certificate of the Directors of the Company
• Recent (3) years Audited Account of the company: 2016, 2017 & 2018) and 2019 Management Account for 9 months.
Means of Identification of Directors of the Company (i.e. Photocopy of International Passport or Driver’s License or
National Identity Card or Permanent Voter’s Card)
Eight (8) passport photographs each of the Directors of the
Company Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the Directors and Key
Management Staff Biometric Verification Number (BVN) of Chief
Promoter, Director & Shareholder
