INVITATION TO TENDER
1. INTRODUCTION:
As part of commitment to create a forum for public activities that will promote social, cultural and economic growth in the State, the Kwara State Government has approved the construction of ilorin Civic Art Centre.
2. PROJECT: Construction of Ilorin Civic Art Centre
3. REQUIREMENTS:
Interested Contractors must possess the following:
i. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
ii. Evidence of Registration with Kwara State Ministry of Works in appropriate category:
iii. Evidence of Registration with relevant professional bodies;
iv. Evidence of Current Pension Certificates Valid till 31st December, 2019
v. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2019.
vi. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three consecutive years,
vii. Evidence of VAT registration and remittance in the last three consecutive years;
viii. Evidence of Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years 2017, 2018 & 2019);
ix. Evidence of Financial capability to execute the Project including Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank including willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
x. Comprehensive Company Profile with the curriculum vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/ Professional Qualifications;
xi. Evidence of Technical capability and experience in the execution of at least three (3) similar projects in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards from recognized Government or other reputable Agencies, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of the Projects;
xii. List of Plants/Equipment with proof of Ownership/Lease (where applicable); and
xiii. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Headed Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM) and email address. The documents should follow the order listed i-xii, with cover letter (xiii) at the top of each parcel having a table of content indicating the pages on which these items are to be found.
4. COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS:
Interested and competent bidders are requested to collect bid documents from the address below upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee. Completed Technical and Financial bids in two separate envelopes and sets of hard copies shall be submitted. The two envelopes should be enclosed in a large envelope and clearly marked “TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS” with the project name at the top right corner with Company Name behind and addressed to:

5. CLOSING DATE AND OPENING:
Submission of bid documents will close on Wed, 8th July, 2020 at 4:00pm and late submission shall not be considered. Bids will be opened on the same day in the Ministry of Communications Conference Room.
6. PLEASE NOTE:
The Ministry of Communications reserves the right to:
i. Request for the original copies of all the documents presented;
ii. Verify the authority of any claims made;
iii. Disqualify any firm with false claims;
iv. Reject any submission outside the required specifications; and
v. This advertisement is published for information purpose only and will not be construed as commitment or obligation on the part of Kwara State Government
