PROCUREMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the Project that appeared in Development Business, is no UN 536-11/19 dated 4 November, 2019.
2. The Federal Government of Nigeria received a loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises in the Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project, and it intend to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for procurement of Motor Vehicles.
3. Accordingly the National Project Coordinator Office of Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise (LIFE-ND), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB), a procedure specified in the IFAD Procurement Guidelines: This bid is open to all bidders in the Country as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator, Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise in the Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below, between the hours of 10.00 am to 4.00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee N100,000.00 (One hundred Thousand Naira only). The method of payment will be by certified Bank Draft in favour of IFAD assisted Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise (NPCO-LIFE-ND). The Bidding Documents can be collected by the representative of the Bidder on request.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00am local time on Wednesday 26th August, 2020. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ or representatives, who choose to attend at the address below on Wednesday 26th August, 2020 at 10.00am local time. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of as stated in the table above in local currency or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
