GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE FOR YEAR 2019 TETFUND ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT
1. INTRODUCTION:
The Management of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors/Firms, Vendors and the General Public that the University is to undertake the procurement of Works under the Year 2019 Tetfund Zonal Intervention Project.
2. SCOPE OF PROJECTS:
The projects to be executed and to which Technical/Financial bid documents of contractors are invited, include:
Lot 1: Construction of 2Nr, Blocks Lavatory Facilities for Students Comprising 24Nr Toilets, 8Nr Bath Ablution Area and Provision of Water Reticulation System.
3. Interested and eligible Contractors/Firms and Vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the project mentioned above in Federal Tenders Journal, National Dailies and Notice Boards
4. This Advertisement is NOT an invitation to tender.
5. Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including, but not limited to:
a. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),
b. Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years expiring 31st December, 2020.
c. Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate from PENCOM (2020).
d. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. 19 of 2011, (2020)
e. Evidence of current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate (2020)
f. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/20 or valid certificate issued by BPP
g. Company audited account for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018 & 2019).
h. Bank reference from a reputable Commercial Bank with a commitment to provide loan facility for the execution of the contract if eventually won
i. List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed projects or ongoing by the Company (at least three) with letters of award and Practical completion certificates, in the last five years. Letters of award and interim certificates of payment should be attached for projects that are ongoing.
j. List of key personnel and evidence of proficiency and experience.
k. List of Equipment owned or on lease hold by the Company relevant for smooth execution of the project
l. Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
m. A swore affidavit that no of the Directors have been convicted in any country for any criminal offence including fraud or financial impropriety.
n. Functional e-mail address and GSM numbers.
o. Detailed company profile including Curriculum Vitae (CV) of key personnel.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil reserves the right to invoke the provision of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 on matters regarding this procurement without incurring any liability to the bidder.
