ESTABLISHMENT OF LAWTIA INLAND CONTAINER TERMINAL, CONTAINER BARGE TRANSPORTATION AND LAWTIA TRUCK PARKING LOT AT IBESHE WATERFRONT IKORODU, LAGOS

1.0 INTRODUCTION
We hereby invite interested investors, firm and/or consortium of firms to participate in the selection process as a Join Private investment Partner for the Development of the LAWTIA Inland Container Terminal, Container Barge, Transportation and LAWTIA Truck Parking Lot, Ibeshe waterfront Ikorodu, Lagos” LAWTIA expects the selected Joint Private Partners to undertake the Design, Finance Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer (“OFBOT”) of the facility for the joint partnership period, based on LAWTIA Terms and Conditions to be set out in the Joint Partnership Agreement. The proposed LAWTIA Inland Container is a private sector driven proposal borne out of the need to provide
an additional cargo handling and processing facility in Lagos State.
2.0 ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA
Prospective investors, barge owners, shipping lines, container truck owners, container terminal operators, financial
institutions, civil and engineering companies and insurance companies are hereby invited to submit Expression of Interest (EOls) detailing the following:
i. Evidence of firm or consortium’s registration: including Certificate of Incorporation or equivalent registration documents. Full Name and nationalities (countries of registration of firms or consortia). Where bidders choose to submit EoIs in consortium, it must clearly indicate the overall lead firm.
ii. Profile of firm or firms in a consortium): including ownership structure and role of each firm with full contact details (including phone numbers and email addresses).
iii. Most recent audited financial statements of firm or firms within the consortium (2017, 2018 and 2019).
iv. EVIDENCE OF AVAILABLE FINANCING/ACCESS TO CREDIT LINES TO EXECUTE THE PROJECT.
3.0 SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST.
Each Expression of Interest (EO) should be submitted in three(3) copies in a sealed envelope clearly marked e.g
“Expression of Interest -LAWTIA Inland Container Terminal Project Ibeshe lkorodu Lagos”.

4.0 IMPORTANT NOTICE
i. All EOIs must be received not later than 11am on Thursday, 27th August, 2020.
ii. The EOls will be publicly opened immediately after the submission deadline.
iii. Expression of Interest through email or fax will not be entertained.
iv. Only firms whose Expression of interest fulfills the minimum requirements would be issued Request for Proposal (RFP) Nomination Form. All prospective investors are advice to transact only with the Office of the Executive Chairman through the contacts above.
This notice shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Lagos World Trade and Investment submitting Authority Ltd document to award to any form of contract to any respondents) nor shall it entitle any organization submitting document to claim any indemnity from LAWTIA.
