REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER/SERVICES 2021
DEADLINE: 21ST SEPTEMBER, 2020
The Pan African University of Life and Earth Sciences Institute (Including Health and Agriculture) PAULESI located at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan-Nigeria is a flagship project under the African Union Commission (AUC). PAULESI invites EOI from firms within the medical/insurance sector for Medical Insurance Cover/Services to about 180 students who come from all over Africa. A majority of the students are resident in Ibadan, while others are in the field in various African countries as well as in the diaspora, specifically in Europe and America.
PAULESI now invites Firms/Companies from within Africa to submit EDI for Medical Insurance cover/services in the following but not limited to the below including:
(a) In-patient cover
i. Hospital Treatment and Services ii. Day Care Treatmentiii. Pre-Hospitalization Diagnostic Services.
iv. Post-hospitalization.
v. Road and Air Evacuation. vi. Overseas Treatment
b) Out-patient Cover
i. General Out-patient Services
ii, Specialist Out-patient Services iii. Qut-patient Diagnostic Services
iv. Out-patient Prescription
v. Drugs Physiotherapy or referral
c) International Medicaltravel/Insurance Service Cover
d) Optical Cover
e) Dental Cover
f) Maternity Cover
g) Inoculation and Immunization
h) Excess of Loss cover
i) Last Expenses Cover
j) Any other health care services deemed appropriate for inclusion.
Qualifications:
i. Proven experience of over 5 years in Medical insurance Service/Cover
ii. Proven presence in various countries in Africa (list)
il. Qualified experts. facilities and infrastructure
iv. List of similar services offered in the last 5 years to international agencies/Institutions
v. International Network in various countries in Africa and beyond (list)
vi. Experience offering similar services to similar clients like PAULESI (list)
vil. Ability to network with other service providers for complementarity where need be
