Mercy Corps in Nigeria implements a variety of programs with the ultimate goal of building productive, secure and just communities. Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity (RRA) is a 5-year Activity implemented by Mercy Corps and its consortium partners and Save the Children that will directly benefit more than 90,000 households across the four states of Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, and Yobe. The Activity is part of USAID’s contributions to the economic recovery in the North East. Rural Resilience Activity is based on the premise that by stimulating inclusive resilient market systems that take into account the challenges and constraints of the Northeast, moving individuals and households out of chronic vulnerability can transform the North-east’s economy, setting it on a path for stability, resilience, prosperity and inclusion for self-reliance.
The Rural Resilience Activity intends to have a Consultancy for Interactive GIS Mapping of Value Chain Actors/market Systems Assessment (Adamawa, Borno, Gombe and Yobe states) to conduct a comprehensive and interactive GIs Mapping of market systems assessment
This assessment will integrate key considerations related to resilience, nutrition sensitivity, gender, climate change, conflict, youths and insecurity.
