INVITATION TO BID FOR SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE (SPN)

1. This specific procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the sub-programme which appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) No. 709 of August 31st, 2007.
2. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Sub-programme in Yobe State and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments under the contracts for the Rehabilitation of 56 Nos of boreholes, and drilling of 7 Nos of Solar Motorized Boreholes in LGAs of Yobe State.
3. Yobe State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following construction works;

4. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for the Procurement of small works, September 2010, revísed
2018.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Programme Manager, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme, yobe.rwssp@gmail.com and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Address given below, from 8:30am 4:30pm on working days.
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents which contain detailed specifications of the work may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
twenty five thousand naira (NGN25,000.00) for each lot and ten thousand naira (NGN10,000.00) for additional lot under a contract. Payment should be made to the project account below;

7. Bids must be delivered to the Programme Manager at the address stated below by 11:00am on the 2nd November, 2020, and must be accompanied by a security of the amount stated in the table under paragraph 3 above.
8. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be
rejected.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the address stated below on 2nd November, 2020 by 12:00pm.
• The Conference Room of Yobe State Secretariat (IBB Secretariat) located along Maiduguri Gashua by pass adjacent to Yobe State House of Assembly Complex, Damaturu.
10. Pre bid meeting will be held by 10:30 AM at the address below on the 19th October, 2020, as follows;
The programme will provide information on location of the sites during the pre-bid meeting. The potential bidders shall organize the site visit at their expense.
