AUCTION SALES OF RIGS IN PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE AND AGULERI, ANAMBRA STATE

The Receiver of DWC Drilling Limited (in receivership), Mr. Francis Elechi, who was appointed by Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). has engaged the services of Bennis Strategic Services Nigeria Limited and Bombilac Integrated Services Limited to carry out the public auction of the undermentioned Rigs in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Aguleri, Anambra State:

RIG 20
Rig 20 was built in the United States of America by DRECO Lee. C. Moore in 2005. Rig 20 is a 1500hp Drilling Rig with a skid System.

RIG 30
2100 hp electric driven single drum Drilling Rig with skid system with mast height of 161 ft.

RIG 31
2200 hp Hydraulic Rig with Skid System, Drilling depth of 20,000ft and mast height of 15ft.

DETAILS

  • Francis Elechi is the Receiver of DWC Drilling Limited (in Receivership) by virtue of a Deed of Appointment dated 13/06/2019 and registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission on 21/06/2019.
  • AMCON appointed the Receiver after it had by a Loan Purchase and Limited-Service Agreement bought over the then Intercontinental Bank Plc and Fidelity Bank Plc’s loan rights and the assets charged, mortgaged or pledged as security with respect to the unpaid debt of “DWC Drilling Limited”.

NOTE
All interested bidders should indicate interest by reaching the undersigned by email on benstrser@yahoo.com, bombilacintegratedservices@gmail.com and to arrange an inspection. Only those bidders who have expressed an interest by email, and have paid a non-refundable fee of N 100,000.00 to an AMCON designated account shall he allowed to inspect the rigs/items. Inspection will hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and via audiovisual coverage for the Rig at Aguleri, Anambra State from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March 2021. Also, only companies which have carried out inspection shall participate in the auction on 10 March 2021.

TERMS

  • The rigs/items are sold on an “as is and where is’” basis.
  • The rigs/items will be sold to the highest bidder above the reserved price.
  • The highest bidder must present at the auction, a bid deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount of the bid.
  • The deposit will be held until the bid is accepted by AMCON within seven (7) days to close the sale.
  • No sale will be completed until AMCON approves the highest bid.
  • The deposit will be forfeited to AMCON if the highest bidder refuses or is unable to close the sale within seven (7) days after AMCON has approved the bid.
