2017 – 2019 TETFUND PROJECT MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION
INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has approved years 2017 – 2019 project maintenance intervention for the projects listed below:
| LOT 1. | Renovation of Physical and Health Education Building at the permanent site of the College. |
| LOT 2. | Renovation of Early Childhood Care Building at the permanent site of the College |
(2.0) In view of the above, the College wishes to invite competent, reputable and interested contractors to come forward for the bidding process.
(3.0) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/CRITERIA
The pre-qualification requirements include.
(i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Certified true copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
(iii) Evidence of payments of Tax for last three (3) years i.e. 2017, 2018 and 2019.
(iv) Current certificate of compliance issued by the National Pension Commission (PENCOM)
( v) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund Compliance certificate
(vi) Evidence of VAT Registration and payment
(vii) Evidence of current certificate of compliance with National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
(viii) Company’s audited account for the last three years i e 2017, 2018 and 2019
(ix) Evidence of registration on the National Database of contractors by inclusion of current interim registration receipt issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP)
(x) Bank reference indicating financial capability of the contractor. Company profile with CVs of staff which should Include both Academic and professional qualifications.
(xi) Verified and documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed to include award letters and certificate of completion.
NB: Any other relevant documents that can facilitate pre-qualification will be an added advantage.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI DOCUMENTS
Prospective contractors are to submit bid for each Lot desired, separately packaged in sealed envelopes and clearly marked EOI and addressed to the Provost, FCT College of Education, Zuba, Lokoja-Kaduna Expressway. The submission should clearly indicate the name of the project and the Lot number. The reverse side of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the bidder/contractor. The sealed document should be dropped at the procurement unit of the College not later than Six weeks from the date of the advertisement (9, APRIL 2021)
(5.0) OPENING OF EOI DOCUMENTS
All EOI documents received will be opened at the expiration of the advertisement period by 12:00pm at the College Board Room.
(6.0) GENERAL INFORMATION
(i) Bids must be in English Language and signed by the official authorized by the bidder EOIs submitted after deadline for submission would be returned un-opened.
(ii)All costs will be borne by the bidders
(iii) Firms should not bid more than one Lot. Violators stands disqualified automatically.
(iv) Only short listed bidders at EOI evaluation will be contacted at a later date for collection of request for proposal.
( v) FCT College of Education, Zuba is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA)
