IJESA HEALTH IS WEALTH PROJECT DEVELOPMENT-
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ULTRA MODERN GERIATRIC CENTRE AT IJEBU-JESA ROAD, ILESA
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The IJESA HEALTH IS WEALTH PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM, hereby invites reputable companies (registered and licensed) with proven
experience in modern building construction, to submit expression of interest and quotation to participate in tender for the construction of an Ultra-Modern Geriatric Centre at llesa.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work covered under the proposed project shall include the construction of 9 new hospital buildings and provision of other infrastructure
necessary for the smooth operation of a Geriatric centre.
There will be four (4) packages (Lots) awarded to 4 different contractors. The lots are as follows:
Lot 1: The Outpatient Building. Physiotherapy Building. Ophthalmology and Dental Building
Lot 2: The Administrative Building, Kitchen and Dining Building. Diagnostic Imaging Building
Lot 3: The Theatre Complex, Ward One and Ward Two buildings
Lot 4: The Landscape, Gate Entrance, Power Supply and Distribution, Water Supply and Distribution, Interconnecting Road and walkway network, General site preparation and Layout, Linking of Services to all buildings and all other external works.
Lots 1 to 3 will include commissioning of all services within the buildings, required for the smooth running of the buildings.
3.0 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Fallure to adhere strictly to the following criteria may lead to disqualification of the candidate company:
To be eligible for this tender exercise, interested contractors are required to submit their bid with the following requirements:
Name and address of company including telephone, emails, faxes, company representative who shall be responsible for all correspondence etc:
- Evidence of Company registration, Ownership and
- Tax clearance for the last 3 years
- Name and addresses of bankers and reference letters from the banks
- Evidence of funds availability for the project execution.
- Company’s catalogue showing relevant and verifiable relevant work experience for the past 5 years. Companies are to include work orders, signed work completion certificates from clients.
- Evidence with references of completion of 2 major buildings with value not below NGN100 million;List and CVs of key technical staff involved in the works above. Also, provide relevant certification of key personnel:
Experience in modern building construction is a mandatory requirement. Construction company is expected to have been in business for at least 10 years.
Please note that there will be NO VARIATION on this contract. Bidders are expected to seek clarifications on the tender and put appropriate pricingE All questions and clarifications should be directed to abel.alukoscbssng.com on or before Friday 16th April 2021. All enquiries shall be collated and responses
shall be sent to all bidders on Monday 19th April 2021 in order to ensure that all bidders have the same information.
Furthermore, please note that there will be no mobilisation on the project. Payments shall be on the basis of Value of Work Done (VOWD). It is therefore
important for bidders to state the minimum VOWD before requesting for payment during project execution
4.0 CLOSING DATE
The marked and sealed envelope shall be submitted to the addresses below NOT later than 1400 hours Nigerian time or Thursday, 22nd April, 2021
5.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Interested bidders are expected to visit any of the 2 locations (at llesa and Ibadan) with a copy of Company registration document to pick up a Compact Disk containing the Architectural, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical drawings as well as the unpriced BOQ, together with all relevant specifications.
