INVITATION TO BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION OF SCHOOLS IN KOGI STATE
Advertisement for competent, capable and qualified contractor to bid for the construction and renovation of schools in Kogi State
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of Education Science and Technology wishes to advertise for the renovation, remodeling and construction of structures in the under mentioned schools in Kogi State.
SCOPE OF WORK
| Lot 1 | Remodeling of GGSS Oboroke |
| Lot 2 | Construction of Proposed GYB Science Secondary School, Okene |
| Lot 3 | Construction of proposed GYB Science Secondary School, Lokoja |
(2.1) LOTS
Lot 1 = N50,000 and Lot 2 – 3 N60,000, should be paid into MOEST Account No: 0729069436, Access Bank, the teller for the payment should be converted to Receipt at Account Section of MOEST for bid documents.
Tender documents/job samples can be collected from the Ministry of Education, Science and technology Lokoja upon producing the tender receipt.
(3 0) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TENDERING
All interested bidder are required to submit the followings:
(1) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(2) Evidence of Registration with the BPP
(3) Evidence of Registration with the State Ministry of Education
(4) Evidence of Registration with the Ministry of Works and Housing.
(5) Evidence of Last three years Tax Clearance
(6) Letter of reference from a capitalized Bank
(7) Company Profile indicating Personnel, Equipment and Professionalism.
(8) Audited Account of the Company for the past three years.
(9) Evidence of Similar jobs executed.
(10) VAT registration and evidence of remittance
(11) PENCOM Compliance
(12) Evidence of ITF remittance.
(4.0) The Pre-qualification Documents and the Bid must be in separate envelopes. The LOT bidded for must be clearly marked at the LEFT HAND corner of the envelope and addressed to:

Ministry of Education, Science and Technology,
Lokoja
And to reach him not later than 18 May, 2021, 12 noon prompt.
(5.0) IMPORTANT INFORMATION
(a) Bidders who do not possess afore-mentioned documents need not bid as the authority may request for the sighting of the original.
(b) The Kogi State Ministry of Education will not enter into any correspondence with any firm, company or individual whose pre-qualification documents or tender are not accepted.
(c) The Kogi State Ministry of Education reserves the right to reject or to accept any pre-qualification documents or any tender submission.
( d) The MTB is neither committed nor obligated to accept the lowest tender.
( e) Each Lot bided for must be in separate envelope
( f) The pre-qualification and related process neither creates any commitment by Kogi State MOE nor established any legal relationship
