PROCUREMENT OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS
REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB)
RFB NO.: NISWASEC/001/2021
This Request for Bid (RFB) is for the supply of 990 Metric Tons of Aluminium Sulphate, 600 Drums of 45kg (27 Metric Tons) of HTH (Calcium Hypochlorite) and 15 Metric Tons af Soda Ash to Niger State Water and sewage Corporation (NISWASEC) from reputable companies.
2. The bidding companies should be qualified to do business with the Government and have both Financial and Technical capacity to execute the contract.
3. The Water Treatment Chemicals must comply to the Nigerian Industrial Standard (NIS)
4. Bidding will be conducted through Request for Bids (RFB) Procedures specified in the Niger State Public Procurement (NSPPB) Guidelines and is open to all bidders from eligible companies as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Niger State Water and Sewage Corporation, Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Western By-pass, Minna 10.00 hrs to 16.00hrs, Monday to Friday.
6. Qualifications for the requirement include:
i. Experience as prime contractor in successfully carrying out at least three (3) Suppliers Of similar nature
ii. CAC Registration
iii. Tax clearance certificate valid up to December 2020
iv. VAT Registration Certificate
v. Evidence of current compliance certificate from National Pension Commission (PENCOM)
vi. Evidence of Registration with Niger State Public Procurement Board (NSPPB)
vii. Evidence of Registration with Niger State water and Sewage corporation (NISWASEC)
viii. Evidence of Registration with NSITF
ix. EvIdence Of three (5) year Audited Account
x. Comprehensive Company profile
7. A Complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00). The document will be collected by the bidder’s representative on request.
8. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12.00 Noon Monday 30 August, 2021. Late bids will be rejected.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend on Monday 30 August, 2021 by 12.00 Noon, at the address below:
