PROJECT TITLE: PROVISION OF DEBT RECOVERY SERVICES TO AED PIC REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
(1) Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AED Plc) is one of the 11 power distribution companies that was successfully privatized and handed over to new investors in November 2013. AED Plc has a franchise for the distribution and sale of electricity across an area of 133,000 km2 in the Federal Capital Territory, Niger State, Kogi State, and Nassarawa State.
(2) AED Plc is looking for a debt recovery agent or firm that will be responsible for the recovery of outstanding debts of the company and also ensure efficient reconciliation on disputed debts and follow-up on severe cases of debt recovery to establish a repayment plan for debt settlement.
(3) AED Plc now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Provision of debt recovery services to AED Plc according to the scope of service as specified in the bid document. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information on the bidding documents from AED Plc’s website (www.abujaelectricity.com), click on home, then procurement, and download RFP for Debt Recovery Services.
(4) Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11.00 am on 13 December 2021. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. The bidders shall prepare one single technical bid clearly marked as “Technical Bid” – Envelope A. similarly, bidders shall prepare only one indicative commercial bid clearly marked as “Commercial bids” – Envelope B. Both the envelopes carrying the technical (Envelope A) and Commercial (Envelope B) proposals should be put in a sealed single envelope.
