INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE FURNISHING OF NEW KSMC BUILDING

INTRODUCTION
As part of the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrade of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), the Corporation is looking for a Contractor for the Furnishing of New KSMC Building. In Compliance with the provision of the Kaduna State Public Procurement Law 2016, the KADUNA STATE MEDIA CORPORATION on behalf of the Kaduna State Government hereby invite interested, eligible, and competent contractors to bid for the Furnishing of New KSMC Buildings.

TENDER REQUIREMENTS

  • Corporate Affairs Commission Certificate
  • Tax Clearance Certificate 2018, 2019. 2020.
  • Evidence of PENCOM Registration and remittance
  • Evidence of IFT registration and remittance.
  • Kaduna State Board of Internal Revenue Board Certificate
  • Evidence of current registration with The Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority.
  • Audited Account for three years 2018, 2019 and 2020.
  • Evidence of current registration of Business premises with the Kaduna State Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology.
  • Technical experience and qualifications of key personnel with evidence of registration with appropriate professional bodies.
  • Evidence of similar verifiable projects successfully executed/completed/ongoing with attached copies of award letters, payment and completion certificates.
  • Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking Support.
  • Evidence of VAT registration and remittances.
  • Evidence of Bid Security in the form of Bank Guarantee or Certified Bank Draft from a reputable Bank in Nigeria.
  • Any other information that would be relevant.

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested companies/firms can obtain the Financial Tender Documents on the KADPPA e-Procurement Portal from Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at a non-refundable tender fee of Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N450,000.00) only payable to Kaduna State Government through the Portal.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
(a) An electronic copy each of the Completed Technical and Financial Bids are to be submitted on the KADPPA e-Procurement portal.

(b) The Technical and Financial bids must be inserted and submitted in separate folders clearly marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid.”

(c) The Financial Bid must be submitted in the same format (Excel) it was obtained from the portal.

(d) A copy of the Summary Page of the Financial Bid should be submitted separately.

(e) All submissions must bear the name, address and contact number of Bidder, Project Description and Lot number clearly marked. CONTROL SUBMISSION:

(f) A hard copy each of the Completed Technical and Financial bids in separate envelopes shall be placed in a large outer envelope marked at the top right hand side as ‘Control Copy’, and dropped in the ‘Control Box’ at the KSMC Headquarters No.1 Wurno/Rabah Road, Kaduna

(g) Evidence of 3% Bid security in form of Bank Guaranty

(h) All the envelopes must bear the company name and contact number at the reverse sides while the “Project Description’ and “Lot No.’ clearly marked at the top left-hand corner of the envelopes and addressed: The Managing Director/CEO Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) No.1 Wurno/Rabah Road, Kaduna. Failure to comply with this requirement of separate submission for Technical and Financial Documents shall lead to disqualification.

(i) The submission shall be made not later than 12 noon of December 07, 2021.

OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
(a) Electronic copies of the Technical Bid and the Summary Page of the Financial Bid received shall be opened immediately after the close of receipt of bids in the presence of the representatives of the Bidders on the KADPPA e-Procurement portal.

(b) Only bids that meet the pre-qualification requirements shall proceed to the financial evaluation stage 6.0. GENERAL NOTICE

(a) Only the electronic bids submitted through the KADPPA e-procurement portal shall be considered for prequalification.

(b) Financial Bids submitted in any format other than in Excel format shall be rejected.

(c) This advertisement shall not be construed as contract award or any commitment on the part of the Kaduna State Government or its Agency/Agents; nor shall it entitle any company/firm to make any indemnity from the Kaduna State Government or any of its Agencies/Agents by virtue of such company/firm having responded to this advertisement.

(d) Response to this advertisement does not oblige the Kaduna State Government or its Agencies/Agents to consider responding company/firm’s bid.

(e) The Client reserves the right to accept any Bid, annul the Bid proceedings, or to reject any or all bids at any time prior to Contract award, without thereby incurring any liability, or any obligation to inform Bidders of the grounds for the action.

(f) Late submission shall be rejected.

(g) The currency shall be the Nigerian Naira

(h) All submissions must be made in English Language.
